Act 1: Return To Juban

The following story will be written in a third person narrative so as to capture as many thoughts and opinions from the character as possible and for the benefits of readers. Specific points of view are to be specifically mentioned.

"Mama, no one out there likes me!" a little girl with brown hair and blue eyes cried, clinging on to her mother's leg.

"You have to learn to mingle with the other kids, Aurelia."

"But they call me a freak!"

"What can you possibly do that would make them say such things about you?"

An older version of the girl looked out a bus window, recalling the memory.

The bus screeched slowly to a stop and the doors swung open. Gathering her stuff and putting on some sunglasses, the girl walked off the bus, tipping the young driver.

The brunette walked around town, taking in both old and new sights.

Staying silent while staring at things that she didn't remember, the girl passed by a building that caught her eye. "An arcade? What is that?"

The girl walked in out of curiosity and instantly felt a rather familiar presence...

She saw a girl with brown hair sitting at one of the game consoles with a... blue cat... next to her.

"I am GOING to master this thing!" she said, trying to get the hang of a certain attack the character was doing.

Her heart full of sympathy, the teenage spectator lifted her left hand slightly and turned her wrist 45 degrees. Somehow, right after, the gamer perfected the move.

"YES!" It was apparently the final level, because the words 'You Win' appeared on the screen.

Feeling accomplished after beating the high score, the girl got up and skipped out of the gaming center to get a smoothie.

After standing in the same place as before for another two minutes, the silent witness realized that there was something the machine had dispensed.

Picking up the mysterious prize, a curiously-designed pen, the girl recognized the fact that she had messed up something important by doing so, as she sensed a draining aura... it was draining into her.

The girl ran to the nearest smoothie place out of intuition to find the girl, hoping whatever was meant for the girl would still be there by that time.

She saw the brunette having a smoothie and talking to her cat, so while trying not to eavesdrop too much, her hand went to tap her shoulder. Her index finger two inches away, she realized that wouldn't be the best idea, and instead just set the pen on the counter and walked out.

Not even ten seconds later, she was stopped.

"Wait!" The ocean blue-eyed girl turned around and saw the gamer from earlier. "Come inside. Have a smoothie."

The brunette took off her sunglasses and looked at the other girl questioningly.

"Most people wouldn't be this nice when things are forgotten. Please."

Eventually, the silent girl shrugged and had a smoothie.

"My name's Serenity," the girl with the cat said as she had her smoothie. "Serenity Shimura."

The girl recognized that name. Shimura was also her surname, so that must mean that they are somehow related... but she came here to start over again, so she was not going to identify herself as one of them.

"Aurelia... Aurelia Wakuri."

"So you do talk!" Serenity picked up Aurelia's hands happily. "I'm going to call you Auri from now on if that's alright with you!"

Reluctantly, Aurelia nodded. She wasn't much of a talker, and she definitely didn't want to start making friends with whom she was once associated with for the sake of her life going back to its downward spiral, but she also didn't want any suspicion.

A nearby crash startled Serenity, but Aurelia's face stayed in quite the neutral expression.

"I have to go." And with those words, Serenity and her cat were gone.

Again out of the interest she had, Aurelia went to investigate something: the place the crash sound was heard. There she saw a rather large monster.

"Stop right there!" a voice cried out, causing the monster to turn to face it. "I am the Pretty Guardian, who fights for Love and for Justification! I am Sailor Eris!" She jumped onto something a crane at this (apparent) construction site and was lowered down to the ground. "Sit back and study on track!"

Sailor Eris jumped into action, and Aurelia quickly took cover in the shadows to hide her identity from anyone. She obviously did not want to be recognized.

'This power,' she thought to herself. 'It's the same as from that pen at the arcade...'

Realizing what must be done, she shouted five magical words.

"XENA REVIVAL POWER, MAKE UP!" Instantaneously, she became a girl in a saior fuku. Instead of one of those tiara things on her head, however, a golden star symbol was present.

After discovering this new side of herself, Aurelia realized that Sailor Eris was in danger... and that made her blood boil. She didn't know why, but she felt connected to the mysterious hero somehow.

Generating a golden star-shaped shuriken in her hand, she drew back her arm... and then she launched it.

"Who threw that?!" the monster cried as Sailor Eris was released.

Catchphrase... just like Sailor Eris...

"The past is not meant to die, just as former legends! You dare hurt those who stand for what is right and I'll punish you! I am the Pretty Guardian who fights for Love and Order! I am Sailor Xena! And now, in the past and forevermore, I will torment you!"

Sailor Eris was overjoyed at seeing such a spectacle and the two pretty sailor-suited soldiers fought it.

"Nice job!" Sailor Eris exclaimed after the monster was beaten, only to find Sailor Xena was no longer there. "Oh..."

"Serenity," the blue cat from earlier began. "You must be cautious of that girl. We don't know anything about her!"

"I know, Cordelia," the purple sailor senshi replied. "...Sailor Xena... who are you?"
