Tuesday came quickly. Too quickly. My anxiety was off the scales. I was not sure how this day with Luke was going to end up. I was scared but I was also excited. Luke was arriving at 1:30pm, it was now 12:30pm so I had an hour until he gets here.

I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth before I got ready just in case, I got toothpaste on my top or jeans. Once I had finished brushing my teeth I went back into my room and got dressed I wore a white Harry Potter top that I had bought from Primark a few days ago, it has an embroidered picture of a POP vinyl design of Harry Potter on his broomstick wearing his Gryffindor cloak with stitching below the character's portrait saying Harry's name. I paired the top with black jeans. My style is a bit nerdy but natural. I wanted to curl my hair today, I just had the sudden want to look nice. While I was curling my hair, I put on some music on my TV from YouTube I put on Taylor Swift's song, I Did Something Bad. My phone began sounding off the default iPhone ringtone on the wooden floor beside me. Luke was calling me. I quickly paused my music and answered the call.

"Yes?" I questioned as I hear a tired groan from the other end of the phone, "You slept in didn't you." I guessed as I hear Luke chuckle to himself.

"I set five alarms, but I kept putting them on snooze and forgot to get up." I hear Luke explain with a groggy tone. I face palm myself and drag my hand down to my lips and start picking the skin on my lips.

"So, what your telling me is you'll be late...again." I frustratedly sigh down the phone and Luke continues to apologise.

"I promise I will buy the Ben and Jerry's ice cream down at the shop so you don't have to go down, I will get my mum to drop me down there and then I will walk up to your house." I give in to his offer and he tells me he will be at my house by 2pm sharp. I highly doubt it. We quickly say goodbye.

The time was 1:17pm, now I had more time to kill. I did not want to sit in the house all day and my mum has already agreed to let me have the house to myself when Luke comes down, so she was getting ready to go up to Genevieve's house. The sun was a comforting heat on my back as it shone through my bedroom window. It gave me the idea to go on a walk. I grabbed my black faux leather Convers and walked into the kitchen. I wanted to bring my dog, Butterscotch with me so I had some company. I clicked on her purple harness and clipped on her matching purple lead. I called out to my mum to tell her I was leaving and swiftly made my way out the door and into the sunny weather. My overly sensitive blue eyes automatically squinted once I was out of the shade. Sensitive eyes are a curse when it comes to sunny weather.

I take Butterscotch to a river glen not far from where I live, and I try to let her go into the water but Butterscotch had the attitude of a princess, so she was not up for getting her paws wet. Butterscotch is my mum's dog, she got her name from an alcoholic beverage my mum used to drink when she was younger called Butterscotch Schnapps, the other two dogs, Darwin and Buddy are Liana's dogs, but my mum is taking care of them until Liana finds her own place to live.

I walk Butterscotch around a meadow area, it was a couple of twists and turns away from the river. The sun creates shadows through the leaves as I walk through the meadow with Butterscotch. I take time to admire how beautiful today is. It was quite peaceful and relaxing to be in the fresh air with my dog by my side.

Soon enough it was time for us to head back to the house so I could be there for Luke coming to the house. It was almost 2pm so I rushed back home, it did not take long, my estate is beside the glen, so it takes me about 2 minutes to get home when the main road is not filled with speeding cars. Thankfully today the main road was not that busy.

When I get back to the house, I realise my mother has already left for Genevieve's house because her car was not in the driveway. Luckily, I asked her to leave the front door open for me because I did not bring my keys and I was not planning on Luke catching me skilfully climbing through my living room window. I go inside and immediately take off Butterscotch's harness and hang it up in the pantry.
