You didn't remember much of you're childhood but one memory sticked to you're mind. The memory of you're best friends they wore twins and looked exactly the same but you could still tell who's who. I mean why wouldn't you be able to they had really different personality's yui was more cold and didn't speak much kinda like a dandere but also like a tsundere cus at times he'd say harmful things whit out thinking on the other hand mui was more cheerful and nice and he'd never say anything to hurt you're feelings. You guys wore inseparable you would always hang out all day. One day you stayed playing whit them until the moons light was the only thing that shined usually you're mom would come pick you up wen the sun was hiding but she didn't come you decided to just head home by you're self of course muichiro try stoping you and telling you that you should spend the night at there house but you just assured him you'd be fine and whit that you left.
As you approached you're house you had this wired feeling that told you something was wrong but you ignore it wen you got close enough you saw that the door was was open and there was also this red liquid coming out of the house you step inside and there you're eyes grew wide at seeing you're mom laying on the floor whit blood all around her. Than you tremble in fear as you noticed a black figure devouring you're fathers body you let out a loud cry which drove the thing's attention to you.
You quickly ran from there as fast as you could but it didn't take to much time before the demon had catch up to you
You couldn't even see were you wore goin it was all blurry thanks to the non stoping tears in you're eyes.
You trip over a rock and feel to the ground causing a cut on you're left knee you Yelp from the pain and the demon took this to his advantage to get close to you
Was this it was this how you wore goin to die? You asked you're self
But than you black out not knowing what happened next

You slowed opened you're eyes to find you're self in a very particular room. Not that the room was strange or anything but you've never seen this room before you wore than greeted by a young women who apparently her name was kanae she was really pretty she had long black hair that faded to purple at the tips of her hair

After some long explaining you learned that you wore saved by this young women standing in front of you but unfortunately she didn't came in time to save the rest of you're family
You could feel the tears forming on you're eyes "were would you go? Who would take care of you?" All this question went thought you're mind
But you wore invited to stay at here home and that was how you ended up living on the butterfly estate and training to become a demon slayer
