Panic started to rise in her body, while a chill ran down her spine.
Frozen on the spot she didn't hear Worick warning her and telling her to run! But before he could do anything else he was shoved against the counter and knocked out cold. Blood slowly running down the side of his face.

The pirate didn't even pay attention to Doc's body hitting the ground and stalked his way over to Kayda. Who was trying to get over to him to make sure he was ok. But before she could, the pirate grabbed her arm and shove her against the nearest wall. He pushed his much larger body up against hers making sure she couldn't move or run.

This made Kayda tremble and try to push away from him but he didn't budge. Their faces were only inches away from each other. She could now clearly see her attacker thanks her lamp that was shining through from the room she had left it in.

He had short, straight blond hair with piercing ice-blue eyes, that showed no emotion what so ever. Making them that much more frightening. The rest of his face was covered with a slick black mask with sharp demon teeth carved into it. He towered over her easily, having to lean down to look her right in the eyes.

To say she was scared out of her mind would be an understatement. She was doing everything she could to hold back the scream that was building in the back of her throat. Her entire body was telling her to submit, but she refused to.

'come on Kayda pull your self together' she told her self.

"you're going to listen to me lass cause I'm only going to say this nothing to calm her nerves.

"I'm going to let you go and you are going to get me everything someone would need to heal a sword wound. If you don't you will end up like you're friend over there". He warned her, leaning closer and digging his hand into her waist. "Do you understand me, lass?" She nodded her head realizing that she should do what he wants if she wants to get out of here alive and help doc.

'I need to make sure he is ok! Come on kayda you have dealt with worse men then this!' Kayda
took a deep breath before speaking.

" Pl-please let me look him over an-and I promise I will do what you ask" she pleaded. Kayda looked over to doc trying to get the pirate to understand what she meant. The pirates turn to the bloodied body and there turned back to me.

"Sorry lass but we haven't got time for this so just grab what I want now!" He threw Kayda to the ground, not caring if she hurt her self, and walked over to Worick. He pulled his gun out of his belt and pointed to the doctor's head.

"Talk back to me again or make one wrong move and I will put a bullet through his brains". He growled pulling the latch back. This one move made all the blood in kayda's body run cool and make her scramble to her feet. She makes her way over to the medical cabinet while grabbing her medical bag, her hands were shaking so bad. She was scared that she would drop something and make the pirate shot. Thousands of possibilities were running through her head, most of them ending with her and Doc dying.

There was no way she will let that happen.

She was about to put the last jar into the bag when the shop door sang opened making her jump and drop the jar of herbs. She spun around, pushing her self against the self, only to see another pirate leaning his whole body on the door frame. He seemed to be seriously injured.

Kayda noticed that said pirate had a huge gash on his side. It ran right across his chest, bleeding profusely. She knew that he wouldn't make it through the night if she didn't deal with it.

Going with her instincts she grabbed a fluffy white rag of the side and ran up to the smaller pirate. Pushing his hand away from his chest and she replaced it with the rag. Only to be shoved away from him and onto the floor, a small squeak escaping her lips.
