Summer's P.O.V.
I woke up at about nine o'clock in the morning to the sun shining through my window and right into my eyes. I moaned as I got up, and got dressed . Then I headed out to the kitchen and saw my mom and my dad sitting at the table each with a mug of coffee sitting in front of them. My mom looked up at me and smiled. "Morning Summer how did you sleep last night." My mom asked.
"Really well, as soon as my head hit the pillow I was out." I replied.
"Well that's good. Summer if you don't mind could you please go get a cake for Carson's party somehow we managed to forget to get one. " My dad said before he took a drink of his coffee.
"Sure, I can go get one right now. What kind of cake do you want me to get?" I asked
"Just pick a chocolate cake in the shape of some sort of character." My Dad said as he tossed me the spare keys to Celeb's car .
"OK, sounds good. I guess I will be going, be back soon." I said as I headed out of the house,and hopped in Celeb's car started the engine and pulled out of our drive way. I decided that I would take a shortcut on oak street which cut through the forest. My parents had told me once when I was first learning how to drive that I was not to take the shortcut without anyone else being in the car with me, but they would never give me a straight answer as to why I could not go down the road. So today I decided to take the shortcut so that I could make it back to the house in time for the party. I turned on to the road and had just made it around the large curve at the beginning of the road when I had to smash my foot on the brake pedal causing the car to come to a sudden stop. I looked out the front window and watched as a man stood in the middle of the road suddenly turned into a massive black wolf that stared at me with its green eyes. Now I know I am losing my mind men can't just change into wolves that only happens in books, and movies I thought to my self as I quickly turned the car around and made my way back to the main road. Well, I guess I am going to be late to the party after all.
