today was just , regular. which was weird considering that im used to being beaten everyday. there was no jahseh in sight , no isaiah, no stokeley. i felt safe for the first time in a while. felt nice, i'll admit. as i quietly walked home, i heard footsteps, i stopped walking to make sure my mind wasn't playing tricks on me. (c l i c k , c l i c k , c l i c k) nope, someone was following me. i turned around to see who it was and it was person i had thought left me alone for today , i cant ever catch a break.

JAHSEH

i was following her , she thought she could get away today without her beating. just because i was absent today doesn't mean i forgot. "fuck you think you going?" her head hung low "h-home." i slapped her with all of my strength ,making sure it hurt. "jahseh, please s-stop." i looked into her eyes, for once i actually felt bad. i mean i guess i've always felt bad , the only reason i bully her is because she rejected me , shes the only girl i've ever really wanted. "uh , let me help you up." she looked at me sideways, "huh?" i held my hand out "lemme help you up." she slowly held my hand and pulled herself up , "sorry." her eyes widened "sorry?" she said quietly. she just stared in shock , i cant handle silence so i decided to fill the void. "i'm sorry for everything i've done to you sorry for beating you , calling you out of your name, and being nothing but horrible to you." her eyes watered , did i hurt her that bad? "i- im sorry i don't know what to say." i caressed her face trying to be somewhat comforting. she jumped at the feeling of my touch , trembling. "i will never let anyone hurt you including me again." she just nodded "all mines, just remember that."
