Captured [LC FanFic]

Pt. 2

David's POV:

We both sit there being as quiet as possible, it feels like it's been hours even though it's only been 10 minutes. Tears ran down my face. Suddenly, we hear one of men scream "Why does this damn dog keep biting me!!" At least Coco is trying to protect us. Felix reaches in his pocket and grabs his phone. "What are you doing!?" I whisper to him in a panic. "Calling the police." He says. "You can't, they will see your phone. They'll hear you." I tell him. "I can turn the brightness down and turn off the ring tone." I can tell he's worried but I can't let him call the police, it's too risky. "We shouldn't take the risk." I try to tell him. "But-" Before he can respond we hear footsteps getting closer to us.

Felix POV:

David starts to cry and shake more. I start to panic, then try to keep as calm as possible. I gently rub his back, trying to reassure him it's okay, but it's too late. "I found footprints!!" We heard one of them say. Davids eyes widen. I cover David's mouth before he screams. "Get down..." I whisper as quietly as I can to him. We go as small as we can be, but heard one of them say "Found 'em!"

The guy without the tail goes and grabs David's arm, pulling him out of the bush. David screams "Stop!! Why are you doing this!? What do you want!!?" But the guy ignores David's question. I try to punch the guy but the one with the tail grabbed my wrist. "Don't even try, you will regret doing that."

David raises his other hand and yells "STOP!!!" I could see his eyes glowing, but then the two men and i, dropped to the ground. "Did you just...?" I ask him in confusion while David was helping me up. "I think so..." He responds. David grabs Cocos leash and we start bolting out of the forest.

We see light as we get out of the forest. Out side we see Cody. I wonder if he heard David scream..? I thought. Cody saw us and asked "What's going on!??" David screamed "Run! There's people after us!" We could hear the fear in David's voice. Cody looks towards the forest and... starts to change into a creature with horns and a tail...!? "Cody!?.." I ask. But he runs past us into the forest and screams back "Not now, Felix, I'll tell you later!!"

David's POV:

We run to a nearby house and hide behind it. Felix looks so confused. "Cody is uh... a... and... you... know about this..?" I tell him "Yes, it's all so crazy... But, we'll explain once it's safer. Ok." He says "Yeah, once's it's safer..." He started to pet Cocos head, she looked like she enjoyed it.

A few minutes later we heard a painful sounding scream coming from the forest. Right after, we heard one of the kidnappers scream "Where are the two kids!!?" That wasn't Cody, was it..? I start shaking, I can't help it. The thought knowing that could have been my friend, a-and he could be in serious pain, and I can't do anything, it... terrifys me! Felix hugs me trying to calm me down. Without realizing it, I had drop Cocos leash again, and she runs off towards where the others are.

I get up to try and get her back, but Felix grabs my arm before I get past the house.  "We can't go after her." "But-!" "She'll be fine, like last time, trust me." He tells me. He smiles but i can tell he's as worried as me.

We go dead silent as we hear I bike come close to us. Suddenly, the screaming stops, which can be a good thing, or an absolute terrible thing. I jump on Felix, hugging him tightly for comfort and he pats my back telling me it's okay. One of the men ask "Hey kid, where are you going!?" They were kinda far, but close enough we could hear them. I let go of Felix and look at what's happening. I see a kid on a bike. "Ugh.. home where els-." The kid looked at the kidnapper with the tail and quickly started to peddle as fast as he could. I tried tell in him to run but Felix pulled me back before I could do so. "What the hell are you doing!!?"

I get away from Felix's grip, to see the one with the tail start chasing the kid. Coco ran up to him and bites the guy in the leg, again. "Oww!! Stupid dog!!" He screamed. Me and the kid make eye contact for a second and Felix pulls me away again "Are you stupid!! We're going to get caught!!" "I don't want him, or Coco to get hurt!!" I cried. "We don't need to get our selves in more danger! They will be fine ok!" He screams in a wisper tone. I nodded. We heard the guy say "Kid don't run!! You won't get far!! We can make a deal!"
