Eddies POV
——————
As we approached the quarry I had noticed Richie dozing off. I decided to shake him a bit to wake him up.

"Chi Chi" I call in a sweet voice. "You tired?" I ask. All I get is an "mph". "Aw.." I giggle. "I'll take that as a yes." I smile. When we finally get to the quarry, I sit down on a rock. Richie decides to lay his head on my lap.

'Oh fuck. Oh shit. Uh..what do I do?!' My mind races. I stare down at the pale male with bag under his eyes and sigh softly. "Night, Chi." I say gently in his ear.

I look up to see Stan staring at us. He claps his hands slowly and quietly. "OTP." He smirks. I roll my eyes. "Oh hush." I watch as the rest of the losers start laughing. "Fuck you guys." I grumble, looking down.
I look down at Richie who stirs a bit at the loud cackling coming out of our friends mouths. "Shhhhh! You'll wake him." I grouchily state. Richie always had been a light sleeper. Well, ever since his father had died.

Richie and his father had a very close relationship. He hates it when we try to talk to him about his father. He usually starts to cry whenever we even say his name. It's tragic.. Mister Tozier was sadly one of the only people in this shitty town that WEREN'T homophobic. Horrible, I know.

"Mmmmh!" I hear Chi start to whine softly.  "Shhhh..shhh..go back to sleep, bubba." I reply, letting him curl up next to me.

I watch the rest of the losers as they make 'AWWW!' faces. Fuck them hoes.

I give them a quick glare. "If you wake him up we're gonna have to take him to his house and you know how much he hates it there now." I deadpan. Bev gives me a confused look. "Why would he go home? Can't he just go to Stan's?" She asked. "If he wakes up he's gonna start crying about how he wants to go home and when he gets there he's gonna get hurt and.." I get out my fanny pack and dig out my inhaler. I take a puff of it and put it back.

"Geez, Ed. Calm yourself. Lets move him to my house. He could sleep in the guest bedroom and he could stay over.." Stan offers.

It's times like these I wish my mother didn't hate Richie. I want Richie to come to MY house but because my mother doesn't trust him around me, she wouldn't let him within six hundred feet of the hell hole we call our home.

"Yeah..Stan has a great idea. We could get him a few blankets and we could help him get over that shit bag he dated.." Ben adds.

I nod in approval of this plan.

I sigh, laying a tired Chi against the rock we were sitting on. I hear a small, lazy yawn escape his mouth.

Awh..

I tap him lightly on the shoulder. "Come on, Chi. We're taking you to Stans, okay?" I hear a small groan. "I'll take that as a yes." I smile, as we make our way to the Jews house.
