September 1st

It was a cold night at Hogwarts, there has been something about that castle, always having it's own atmosphere, but there was also something about that night in particular. Most of the students are 17 years old now, and in such world, every students has something going on in their mind. Thoughts are racing.

Everyone was minding their own business, students were sleeping and teachers were doing their usual school work from protecting the school to preparing for their classes. However, professor Slughorn always had his own style going, parties and gathering with students were his thing, he was the fun teacher after all.
It was the first day of school for Hogwarts's students and of course, Slughorn wanted to host a party, only inviting those who he was interested in.

Everyone was dancing and having fun but someone wasn't, Tom riddle was forced to be there, he had other plans but who can get away with Slughorn's incestuous ass anyway.

Tom was sitting with some of his "friends" , more like- future servants- at a table. He was tapping his fingers and shaking his leg nervously, for all he knew, he should've been out of this fucking place continuing his horcrux mission. This is it. I'm out, he thought to himself, he got up and tried to make his way out only to find some drunk motherfucker bumping into him.

"TOM!" Avery said, he could feel the fear growing in him. "It was a mistake, here let me-"
"Stay away" said Tom, looking at Avery from top to bottom with an obvious look of disgust on his face.
"'TOM WAIT" Avery yelled, grabbing Tom's hand. "You can't go anywhere, there have been rumors about you all over the school and almost everywhere, that you're doing some dark shit here and there mate".
"Piss off" said Tom, he released his hand from his drunk friend's grab as he made his way back into the party. Avery wasn't mistaken after all.

Tom knew he's going to be stuck in this lame party till the sun rose, so he headed to the Tower's outer area, looking for a calmer time, he could hear the music fading as he got closer to his destination.

On the other hand, Tina, the well known slytherin was having a great time, she was dancing and vibing with her friends, anyone would kill to be friends with her, even Hagrid wants to steal her heart, however he got some competition going on with Snape. (LMFAO SORRY)

Tina could feel her legs starting to hurt from all the dancing, so she made her way out to the Tower's balcony, to get some rest and catch fresh air, but also to clear her thoughts, it was the opening party for the start of the semester, she didn't see Tom. Everyone knows that Tom Riddle is Slughorn's favorite so he should've been at the party, where the hell is he?
Tina has been looking forward to this party just to see him. The popular slytherin girl has always had a crush on Tom Riddle but she didn't tell anyone, it's an aching pain in her chest. The only thing that drives the pain away is a look from him. Pain goes away but brings in a deep feeling of desire instead.
A night, a kiss, a moment or even a look from him was all she needed.

She got to the Tower's outer area, it was one huge space, it's even considered a whole separate section in the castle.
Tina saw her friends sharing laughs and having a good time away from the chaos inside, however, she didn't notice Tom on the other side of the tower. She ran to catch up with her friends Nicole, Cynthia, Aysha and Alena.

"Look look who's here" said Nicole as she hugged Tina. "Come join the fun." Tina giggled and took a sip of her drink.
"Why did you leave the fun inside" asked Cynthia. Tina's eyes started to fill with many emotions, she felt drained.
"What's up?" asked Aysha with a worried look, "You know you can tell us anything-".
"I- I know" interrupted Tina as she let out a sigh of relief, " I just..."
"Maybe we should leave her to rest" said Alena looking from Aysha to Cynthia, "What do you think?"
Alena felt a gentle tap on her shoulder, she quickly turned her face , she saw 4  handsome guys whom she recognized immediately, Adam and Newt Rosier, beside them, Regulus Switch and Draco Malfoy.
Adam offered his hand for Alena to join him to the dance, Newt asked Aysha to join him and Cynthia went with Regulus.
Tina exchanged looks with each and every one of girls, giving them a nod that it's ok they can leave her with Nicole here while they dance.
Draco stepped forward smirking at Nicole, he took out his right arm from his pocket and stretched it slightly for Nicole to take it. But before Nicole did so, she gave Tina a look that meant "I'm sorry I have to", everyone in the school knew both Draco and Nicole had something for each other.
"Great" sighed Tina, "looks like everyone is getting action except me"

On the other side of the Tower, there Tom was. He was drowning in his thoughts, when should he sneak out of school? When is he supposed to finally tell his friends about the plan? Will his way to immortality work out well or will it fail miserably?
His thoughts were swirling in his head almost driving him insane, what did he get himself into? Was he supposed to drop it all and leave the crimes he had done behind?
I should go for a walk and forget about everything for now, he told himself.

As Tom was walking around the tower, he saw Tina, she never looked this beautiful, he never felt this type of deep attraction to her, in fact, he never felt this type of attraction to anyone ever. He wanted something but didn't know what it exactly was, so he followed his instincts and got closer to her.
