A/n: I have a surprise for you guys!!

Mia's P.O.V :

My mom promised me that the day I will get up on time without my alarm blaring out loud and her calling out my name is the day she will take me out and let me buy anything I want.

Sounds amazing, right? All I have to do is wake up on time and boom! I get whatever I want.

It sounds easy, but we are talking about me right here. I, Mia Evelyn Jones, who can sleep for fourteen hours straight and more, if nobody bothers to wake me up.

I love to sleep, but my love for it is always getting me in trouble. Speaking of trouble, I woke up at 7:05 am, exactly five minutes ago and my first class starts at 7:40 am. Aaron is picking me up at 7:20, that is ten minutes from now. My mom is shouting at me from downstairs to hurry up, and I am here with a comb stuck in my hair and trying to find comfortable and simple clothes to wear but can't find any because of the way I set up my closet two days back.

Actually set up would be a wrong word. It's more like 'the way I dumped my clothes in the closet."

Ugh. I should've arranged all my clothes neatly. Waking up late with hair looking like a bird's nest and not finding clothes is not less than any nightmare.

I gave up on finding my clothes and grabbed whatever in the closest I could find. Luckily, it was a pair of black shorts and a white top with a cute butterfly picture on it. Something comfortable and appropriate for college. I quickly changed into them.

Before you ask, yeah I took a shower although you can't really call it that because it lasted for like two minutes.

I was successful in untangling some knots in my hair and tied it into a messy bun so it wouldn't look that bad.

I grabbed my phone and my bag, rushing downstairs. I saw a plate of bread covered with Nutella placed on the dining table. My face instantly lit up at the sight of it and my stomach grumbled the same time but my smile faded the moment I saw my mom standing near the table glaring, and shooting daggers at me.

I gulped and walked towards her, giving my best 'I am sorry' look so I'll be saved from all the yelling.

"Sometimes, I really wonder how you are eighteen years old." Mom said, shaking her head at me.

I didn't know how to react. I just gave her a big-toothed smile and looked at my Nuttela sandwich on the table. I was about to sit and eat it but the loud honking stopped me. Damn it Aaron is already here. I mean, he is on time but I haven't even had my breakfast yet.

I looked at my plate, the yummy sandwich waiting to be devoured by me.

I quickly grabbed the sandwich in my hand and shouted goodbye before heading out.

I got in the car, quickly putting on the seat belt, and started eating my breakfast.

"Ahem," I heard Aaron clearing his throat so I looked at him. He was looking at me, specifically at the sandwich I'm holding. I raised my one eyebrow as a way of asking him 'what?'

He shifted his gaze from my sandwich and looked at me straight in the eyes. "Normally, when people see each other or are in their car, the first thing they do is to greet, not stuff their mouth ... without offering." Aaron said.

"Oops, sorry. Good morning, idiot." I said after swallowing the piece of bread in my mouth.

"Uh-huh, yeah, good morning. Didn't you hear the last part?" He asked, frowning.

What did he say at last -

Oh yeah something like without offering.

I saw him looking at my food again and I glared at him.
