Cassy opened her eyes and looked around her. She was still trapped in this dark, forsaken dungeon. Even if she tried to escape her foot was still chained to the wall. The chain was infused with a powerful spell. Somehow her captors had themselves either a witch or warlock that has betrayed their own kind to work with a bunch of vampires that were from a powerful clan. The same clan that terrorized her home town, and shattered her life at a young age. She was here now as a captive, but she would get revenge on them.
Cassy had used her most powerful and dangerous spell earlier bur it drained all her energy. If she wasn't careful she would end up like her mother, using up all her magic and burning out. If she could regain her energy she could use her magic to get herself and her cell mate busted out of here.
That was another thing besides the vampires, her cell mate. He sat on the ground across from her. He too was chained, but not just with any metal chains. The chains to that were holding him were made of silver and a powerful spells weaved into the chin links. This man was no ordinary man. He was something to look at. This handsome man was shirtless, only in a pair of ripped dark jeans, and barefoot. His body looked like it was craved from a sculptor, and his face was that of a handsome angel or maybe even a demon. His eyes were dark emerald green, and almost something familiar about them. Almost hunting about the way he would look at her. And his hair was long, straight, black, and to his shoulders.
God, she was in trouble, she was practically drooling over the man. And she wasn't sure she could entirely trust him. She wasn't sure how long he here before she was thrown in this place and chained up across from him. He barely spoke to her, but he showed some concern for her, after she had used the one powerful and dangerous spell on her captors. Each time she had used that spell it left her drained, and loosing consciences. It was a spell that summons the power of the sun, and against those like vampires or creatures of the darkness would be burned or affected by the intense power of the sun. It could a completely wipe out her enemies.
This spell was so powerful, and dangerous that the user could die from using it to much. Because of that it was forbidden to use. The last to use it was her mother. She had given her life to save Cassy from vampires. The same vampires who were holding her captive. "Are you alright over there? You don't look so hot." Cassy snapped out of what she was thinking, and turned to her cell mate. "Im alright. Just thinking."
"Thinking about using that spell again?"
"Maybe, but I know what will happen if I did."
"I don't like seeing you passed out and pale looking afterwards. I may not be a witch, but I know that spell is dangerous and forbidden."
"I know your not human, for why else would the vamps have the chains you're in covered in sliver with powerful spells of binding? Binding spells are only used to on a person cause if the user is either to powerful or dangerous in using those powers."
He looked up at her then, and gave her a sly smile. He's defiantly the kind with being to powerful. He wasn't human, but something else. "I'm Cassy, or full name Cassandra." She smiled back at him. He then looked right into her eyes, and left her feeling like he was looking right into her. She swear she has seen those dark emerald eyes before. It left her wondering where.
"I'm Logan." He said and smiled back at her.
"Now, I'm all for getting the hell out of this place together Cassy."
