Growing in Hatred

Mystic or Myst for short had grown in a beautiful majestic wolf. She had longer legs than most pups did which Boron was confused about, a lot of wolves tried to make up reasons to give the pup to another pack but Boron refused since Myst was different and he knew she was special even he didn't know how she was special. The other pups would bully her and blame her that she killed her mom. Myst would burst in tears every time someone told her that. One day she couldn't take it anymore, Star a pup that would always bully Myst got what Myst felt like, Myst grabbed her by the tail and threw her down a hill and then grabbed her by the ears and dragged her back up. Boron had grabbed Myst before anymore damage could be done. All the wolves stood in shock of how a pup could do so much damage. Boron had found out that Myst was stronger than other wolves but he didn't do anything to punish Myst. One night Boron told a story to Myst about the volcanoes that possessed great powers. He said that wolves that could take down a moose alone were the ones chosen to protect the volcanoes from any evil spirits that would steal the magic from the volcanoes to make the world a living hell. He said that the Great Wolf Spirit was the first to be the guardian of the volcanoes, he would defeat any evil spirit that would try to take the magic. " Do you think I can be a guardian, Boron??" Myst asked, Boron simply nodded. The next morning Myst woke up at dawn and ran out to find a moose, but instead she found a spotted owl. Weeks passed and the owl and Myst became the best of friends, Elka was her name, she was a majestic flyer and would catch mice for Myst. Elka was Myst's best friend. They both grew with grace. But they both also lived in hatred, Elka was kicked out of the nest when she still had down feathers. She's said her mother was crazy owl that had eggs on mistake. But her story wasn't as sad as Myst's since she didn't even know her parents.
