I walked on the soft, warm sand barefoot as I felt the chilling wind blow through my brown hair. It was sundown, but I liked being on the beach when lesser people were here. It's relaxing for me.
I laid down my blanket on the spot I usually sit, and stayed there. I looked above the horizon. An array of colors are on the sky, creating a beautiful sunset.
As I began to over look the beach, I heard a shout - a shrilling one.
I stood to my feet and looked around. Everything was still; the waves crashing in, a beautiful sunset on the horizon, and a cool breeze. But then, I heard it again, this time, I was able to decipher what the shout was saying.
"Help!"
My feet ran, leaving my things on the sand. I looked around to hear the shout being called. It got louder and louder as I was getting closer to the rocky part of the beach.
I shuffled closer, and there I saw a blonde guy on the sand, crowded around a group of people. I pushed the people away and saw the guy passed out.
"Does anyone know CPR," I shout. They all shrugged.
I took a deep breath and connected our lips together. As I helped him regain his breathing again, his eyes opened. There, I saw perfectly the bright, big, brown eyes. It was a great fit for him and his bleached hair.
His eyes wondered around, then re-connected with mine.
"T-thank y-you," he says; partially sitting up.
"You're welcome," I say as I helped him up.
The crowd left and I was alone with him.
"I'm Ross."
"Mary," I smile at him.
We stood, looking at each other with no words coming out. I shot him another smile, and in return, he smiled back.
"Do you want to go lay down with me? I have my blanket laid out on the beach somewhere."
His smile grew even bigger, and he nodded his head.
I brought him towards the blanket. We sat down, our hands brushing against each other's. Our heads looked at the horizon in front of us as we watched the sunset. A beatiful atmosphere was created, and I knew it was relaxing for me, and Ross.
"It's beautiful, y'know?" he asks.
I smiled and replied, "It really is."
I turned my head to face him, but he was staring right at my emerald eyes
He took my hand at his and smiled.
"I have to go, but I had a great time spending with you. And you saving my life. I'll have to make it up to you someday," he says. "How about the movies?"
I agreed to him, and we exchanged numbers.
I always knew the beach is amazing.
I know, I know Mary! It's horrible! And short!!! AHH!! I'm sorry I've been busy and delaying this! Forgive me?):
