I carry with me memories so heavy
That sometimes I can't breathe
Or those as light as a feather
Oh the secrets that we keep
A million rays of the sun etched so deep
Like the smile lines that reach
From the corner of your eyes to edge of your ear
I never looked down at my feet
Sometimes I scroll fast in my photostream
Thinking we made a great team
But I don't dare to stop and look at each picture
Some of them too bittersweet
Once, not long ago we took a leap
But it was not meant to be
All that stays is the perfect wave
As I muttered, sea upon shining sea
