When I had lost all hope on love you walked into my life like a fresh breeze of wind and gave me peace.

When you told me that you loved me, I honestly did not want anything more.

The symbol of our love the pendants that we exchanged were our resolute to stay together forever.

I was the key that unlocked your heart but now you are gone and I am engulfed by this darkness.

I could not bid you a last goodbye,
I could not hold your hand for one last time,
I could not hug you tight for one last time
And I could not tell you how much I love you for one last time.

The heart that beats inside me is yours. You gave your life so that I could live but what use is this life if you are not in it?

When I had to stay away from you, tell my heart that staying apart is the best for us, something in my heart always told me that we can never be apart, we will end up together in one way or another.

As my heartbeats now with every heartbeat I feel your presence deep inside me.

I live because of you, I breathe because of you, just like the buds that bloomed in our hearts turned into an ethereal flower of love.

Your heart beats inside of me and makes me feel your love. This key shall always unlock the lock that was you but now with its lock gone, I bury it deep into the shallows of lamentation.

So, oh my love I will keep your heart safe with me, I will keep our love intact so that when we meet again in the afterlife, I can hand it over to you.
