The waves slapped against the titanium hull of the battleship. Almost 3 years at sea, yet the make shift fleet still chugged on. Cobrian looked out over the front of his ship. Infront, 3 transports. On the sides, two aircraft carriers. Behind all that, two destroyers, five frigates, five submarines and a dreadnaught. The fleet was more than just international. It was all that was left. Every naval base in every country was demolished before the sixth tower even rose. Not a single person was expecting the horrible slaughter. Those who escaped the first wave were lucky.

The fleet used to be almost triple its current size. Until the day they needed to dock. A giant fleet entered the harbor. Only a third made it out. Several more ships sank not long after from the damage they took. The aircraft carriers alone are only at half capacity.

~~~~~~Cobrian's POV~~~~~~
I couldn't stand it anymore. The constant rocking and salty air. The cramped living conditions. For crying out loud, my men are puking over the railing right now!
We just need to figure out where the closest port is, unload every vehicle, soldier, and man we have and just plow through to safety.
"Sir! We've reached someone on the radio!" I literally couldn't believe them. My eyes were burning red as I turned to face the tec. He looked at me scared as hell. Almost as if Hades was here.
"There is no one el......" I froze as a voice came over the radio, my eyes shifting to a extremely pale blue.
"Camp echo....al....pha......sierra.......tango......We have safety.....is anyone.....there." That voice.....I know that voice. I practically shoved the tec out the window when I grabbed the microphone.
"MAXWELL????? IS THAT YOU?!?!?" I heard nothing but static for a minute before the reply came through.
"Cobrian! Gods damn it where have you be....." I laughed as I heard a scramble and some fist hitting skull.
"Where have you been?! What happened at the port? I thought your battleship was the one sunk." I could hear the sorrow in his voice.
"Don't worry. Me and my ship are in one piece." I smiled and slightly closed my eyes. He laughed and cheered over the radio. I couldn't help but roll my eyes.
"How far inland are you guys?" I waited almost ten minutes. I glanced at my radar man and nodded. He instantly started checking for the camp on the radar. I figured they couldn't be too far.
"About 2 miles. We will launch flares. There's a port not to far." I cheered loudly. Two miles of land and Gods knows how many miles at sea and I would be with him. My loving hubby. The one I haven't heard from let alone seen for 3 years.
