Chapter 7

When I walked in I instantly gasped.

Luke.

Luke was sitting there on the couch next to Liam and Sophia. "Katie I didn't know he was going to..." She said but I cut her off.

"Luke I thought you were supposed to be with your grandmother in Japan." I said trying not to sound nervous. I shot Sophia the dirtiest glare I could have but she pretended not to notice.

"Yes, I was but I told you I was coming back on Friday. Today is Friday." He answered and he almost seemed mad but I couldn't tell if he was or not.

"Oh. Well did you hav-" I started but was cut off.

"I know you went on a date with one of those One dection guys or whatever." He yelled his face turning red with anger.

"It's One Direction. And I am so sorry, I almost forgot that you were my boyfriend. I didn't mean for this to happen!" I shouted back almost about to cry.

"You know what I don't really care! Because guess what? It did happened!! And I don't think I can be in a relationship with someone that forgets about me then all of the sudden. Oh! Yeah I have a boyfriend!" Luke says with his tears sliding down his baby soft cheeks, then dripping down to his blue cardigan.

"Luke, I'm sorry I really am but Niall Horan asked me out what was I supposed to say?!" I asked seriously.

"No. Would have been a good answer!" He shot back.

"It was one date and we kissed once! That is it! And did you really expect me to say 'no'? Honestly I was stupid enough to think that you would understand but I guess I was wrong." I said now tears streaming down my face.

"Katie. I will think about it ok? I just don't know right now. I will call you soon." He said more calmly this time.

"Ok." I said as he walked past me to the door and left.

I instantly collapsed into Sophia's arms sobbing. She rubbed my back and gently brushed my hair with her fingers. Sometimes I would here the occasional 'it's going to be ok' even though at that moment I was certain that it wasn't going to be.

I completely forgot that Liam was there until he stood up off the brown leather couch and mumbled the words "I should get going."

"Liam no. I'm leaving sorry you had to see that." I stood up and out of Sophia's embrace and shuffled my feet to the door. I said a quick goodbye and was on my way.
