~RICKS POV~
I said " Who's there?" as my cheek continued to hug the floor.
"You answer first!" said what sounded like a youg boy.
"Shhh Duane!" said a slightly older man maybe the father? No he sounded too young.
"Rick, Sheriff Rick Grimes that is." I said plainly.
I noticed that my wound was cleaned up and I was... Hand cuffed to a bed...?
"What kind of wound was it? How'd it happen?" the man said in a more nicer tone than before.
"I got erm...bit" I said plainly again not showing any fear, even though the boy was holding a, erm pretty big sized stick. I looked over to the man and i saw that he was standing by a bowl of water and a couple of medical supplies.
" YOU GOT WHAT?!!?" Yelled the man still a safe distance away. But he sounded...Nervous?
"Hey calm down!" Said (of what I've caught on to) Duan
"But he got bit... Sorry officer but we're gonna have to kill you..." He trailed of with a hint of sadness in his voice.
"WHAT?!!? YOU CANT DO THAT TO ME!!!" I shouted. at the man as he walked closer with a gun in his hand, pointed at my head.
"Your gonna kill a man, just cuz he got BIT? BE A HUMAN?!?!" I yelled with tears almost coming out of my eyes
"It was a human?" He said as he tilted his head slightly revealing His face.
"Yes" I said more calmly now that he calmed down.
~FLASHBACK~
My Sheriff partner,Shane, and I were on a call on day, I dont know how long ago seeing things have changed.
Well anyways we were out in an open field and we saw a guy smoking, uh erm weed, so we went over there and I guess he was so high he didnt know what he was doing. So he came lunging at me and bit my arm.
"AHH WHAT THE HELL?!?!" then I blacked out I don't remember much or what happened after that I just remember waking up in a ambulance truck and coming here.
~END OF FLASHBACK~
And that's what I told Duane and his erm, Friend.
"What's your name?" I asked the man.
"Glenn."
