The private jet was amazing. The seats were as soft as heaven. The roof was painted to look like as if it were clouds. Maxon and I were sitting in our separate room, away from the staff. I was to busy admiring the view, I never heard a thing Maxon was saying.
"Hello? Is anyone home" he said teasingly, waving his hand in front of my face.
"Sorry, the view is just so mesmerizing."
There was a knock at the door. Maxon and I just stared at each other. Then the knock came again.
"I'll go get it" I said standing up.
I opened the door and saw a maid with a cart filled with food. My mouth already got watery.
"Good afternoon, Your Majesty. I just came here to bring you your lunch" she said.
"Alrighty, come in"
She brought the cart in our room. My eyes caught the abundant amount of strawberry tarts. I looked at Maxon and he looked at me with a smirk.
"If you need anything just press this button" the maid said.
"Thank you very much" I replied
The maid left the room and Maxon already started filling up his plate.
"My dear, I am surprised that you never started eating yet. Plus the look on your face when you saw the tarts was unforgettable"
I shot him a glare and said "I'm not hungry"
About 15 seconds later, I filled my plate up with strawberry tarts.
"My dear, sometimes I think that you like those tarts more than me. Do you?" He joked.
"Your Royal Husbandness, I will always love strawberry tarts more than you" I said, wrapping my arms around his neck.
He grabbed my waist, bringing me closer. I started into his intense chocolate eye. I leaned forward, pressing my lips against his. The kiss was long and slow. It felt like it was going on forever. His hands went up and down the sides of my waist. I pulled away.
"The plane will be landing in 20 minutes. Please take your seats." The pilot announced.
"Shall we sit down my dear?" Maxon asked.
"Yes we shall" I replied, intertwining our hands.
We both sat down. I rested my head on his should and thought what awaits ahead.
