Yuki POV
"Have you got a lock on the target? It's distance?" I hear Kakashi's voice through the communicator, "Five meters, just give me the signal, I'm ready," I hear Naruto reply, "Same as me," I hear Sasuke, "Me too!" Sakura chirps, I saw the cat at my feet rubbing its face against my leg, "Oh what a cute kitty!" I pet its head, "Yuki?" I hear Sasuke's voice, "Who's a good kitty~" It meows, "Well I guess we found our missing cat. And an airhead..." Sasuke says looking down at me playing with the cat on the ground. Sasuke quickly picks it up by the scruff of its neck and throws it into the pet carrier, "Sasuke! You didn't need to be so rough!" He smirks and lifts the crate up high so I couldn't reach it. "Come on Sasuke, just let her see the cat," Kakashi says coming out from the bushes, Sasuke gives me the crate and my eyes light up, Sakura comes up too and the two of us play with it through the cage on our way back.
"Ohhh! You rescued my cat! What a darling rascal, don't leave mummy again!" She was hugging the cat really tight, "She's almost hugging that cat half to death, no wonder he wanted to escape," I whisper to Sasuke, he smirks. "I WANNA DO A BIGGER MISSION! NOT THESE SILLY KID ONES! I'M NOT A BRAT ANYMORE!" Naruto pouts and sits on the ground, the Hokage ends up explaining the mission ranks, A to D and why they're assigned specifically, but through Naruto's whining, "Fine I'll give you a C ranked mission. It's to escort someone back to their village," Naruto lights up, "Who is it! A princess?" He asks, the Hokage shakes his head and a man who seemed drunk walked in, we all sweatdrop, "A master bridge builder!" Hokage announces, he looks down at us, "Really? Three runts?" He points at Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke, "Hey sir! I'm here too!" I pout, he inspects me getting really close, I back up a bit, he reeks of sake, "I know you're there, three runts," He looks at me closer, Sasuke steps closer to me, "And one princess," We all go pale in the face, "Sir! You're so much older than me! It's creepy!" I shout at him, "Yeah! And you think she's prettier than me! I have my beautiful pink hair!" Sakura retaliates, he kept trying to get closer to me, and I back up more, I back into Sasuke, then a shuriken separates us, "Don't take another step unless you want to die today," Sasuke has a look in his eye and the drunk guy backs up. Kakashi Sensei claps his hands, "Okay! Let's pack our stuff and get going!" We nod, quickly pop back home, grab my shoulder sling bag, water bottle and slip on Sasuke's jacket and head out my door, Sasuke was already there waiting, "Come on big shot! We can't leave the others waiting!" I grab his hand and drag him to the main gate of our village, "Wow! This is my first time leaving the village! I'm a traveller, believe it!" Naruto jumps around, we were walking our merry way to the Village of the Mist, their element is water and they specialise in water attacks.
Kakashi Sensei seemed on high alert, "What's wrong Kakashi Sens-" He was bound by chains and then he was sliced in half, our eyes widen, "No way..." "Did Kakashi Sensei just die?" We question, two ninjas wearing water headbands come out from the trees and start trying to attack us, Naruto managed to get grazed by their claws and they were coming for me next, my eyes widen, then Sasuke comes out from nowhere and nails a shuriken in between the links of their chains to a tree, using his Kunai to make sure it won't come loose, he then grabs their claw machines and kicks the back of their heads, breaking the claws off. We were all shocked, "Just how many times have you done that?!" Naruto was annoyed, "Naruto! Look out!" Sakura warns him, the two recovered and were about to hit Naruto. Suddenly, "Kakashi Sensei!" The four of us exclaim, "But how?" I ask, "Well when I saw there was a puddle on the ground where it hasn't rained in days I was already on high alert. I substituted my body with a bunch of logs and here I am! In one piece!" He closes his eyes and knocks out the two ninjas. We were all shocked, "Um Naruto, what did you just do?" We ask him as he stabbed his wound, "There was poison in it, if this is the way I'll get it out, so be it!" I snicker, "What are you laughing at Yuki?!" He asks, "I get that when you did was meant to be cool and all, but if you don't treat that, you'll die from blood loss," Kakashi answers, we laugh. We made our way to the shoreline and there was a small motorboat docked waiting for us. "Woah! This place is huge!" Naruto shouts, "Shhh! Why do you think I turned off the motor and we're rowing? It's to make sure they don't find us!" The man paddling us says, he pouts and sits back down, "How come you didn't say that you were being attacked by ninjas? This could have easily been a B ranked mission, it's far too dangerous," Kakashi asks Tazuna, he looks down in shame, "The village of the mist is a very impoverish country, even our nobles don't have much to spare, we just couldn't pay for a B ranked mission. I understand if you want to leave me at the dock, I won't even be able to reach home without being assassinated. My grandson will cry, 'Where is grandpa? I miss grandpa!'" He puts on a high pitched voice, the three of our expressions die down, "And my daughter will go to your village asking why five ninjas left her own father to die like that, it would be too heartbreaking," He holds his heart, great, he just took us down the guilt trip, "Well I guess when you put it that way, we'll continue this mission," Kakashi Sensei scratches his headband, the old man lights up, "What a cheat," I lean back on the edge of the boat, Sasuke smirks, "We're here," The boat driver says, we look up, "Wow!" It was beautiful, water was everywhere, we were leaning on the edge of the boat taking in all the beauty of the area. "We're here!" We hop off the boat, "Thank you very much sir!" I wave the driver farewell, he waves back, "Best of luck!" And drives away.
We were walking along, the mist getting thicker and thicker, "Hey is it just me or is the landscape just getting scarier and scarier?" I ask no one in particular, Sasuke hums and walks closer to me, Kakashi Sensei suddenly says "Get down!" We all duck, Sasuke had his hand on the back of my head, we open our eyes, a huge sword stuck in the side of a tree, piercing it, cutting it almost in half, I gasp. We look around, "Zabuza Momochi," We look up and there was a man standing on the handle of the large sword, Kakashi stand in front of us, Naruto tries to run forward and get a hit on him, Kakashi puts his hand in front stopping him, "Get out of my way, stand behind me," Naruto obeys and walks back to us, we all surrounding Tazuna protection him. "I guess I have no choice but to use this," Kakashi Sensei lifts his headband, Sasuke and I gasp, "N-no way, the Sharingan..." I whisper, "But those only appear in the Uchiha Clan. My clan," Sasuke's eyes glued to Kakashi, "What's a Sharingan?" Naruto breaks the silence, "A Sharingan is very powerful. It is the Dōjutsu Kekkei Genkai of the Uchiha clan that appears selectively among its members." Sakura points out, Sasuke nods, "Then why does Kakashi have one?" I say under my breath. I see Sasuke eyes widen, his hand on his kunai, ready to pierce himself, right before he does I shove my arm in front, the pain sends tears to the corners of my eyes, Sasuke realises what he's done, "Are you crazy!" I shout at him, his eyes widen, "Why would you kill yourself! I get it, you've suffered worse than me, believe me I know! But you have to become a ninja to avenge your family! Save them Sasuke! Don't fall down, don't let what he did get to you!" I scream at him, tears flowing down my cheeks, his mouth opens but nothing comes out, he walks over to me, his face unreadable, he was gripping his kunai tightly, his knuckles turning white, I was scared, scared he'd kill me right then and there, but then he drops it on the ground and hugs me tight, burning his face into my neck, I felt his tears on my skin, I knew he didn't want to show weakness but sometimes, it's better to let it wash over you, you become stronger. He looks me in the eye, "Thank you Yuki," He leans in, but Sakura shrieks making us break the moment, I blush furiously and turn away, Sasuke glaring at Sakura.
Kakashi and Zabuza fighting, Kakashi Sensei copying his every move to a T, that's the power of one Sharingan, amazing. Suddenly Kakashi Sensei was encapsulated by a water prison, "Kakashi Sensei!" We shout, now our top priority was to protect Tazuna, "Sir you don't mind if we try to save our teacher do you?" Naruto asks, "Well I guess it was my fault that I got you all roped into this mess, of course," He looks down. Naruto creates a few shadow clones of himself and they charge at Zabuza, I cut my finger and sign a contract, boar-dog-bird-monkey-ram, "Summon! Yuichi!" A white Kitsune with red markings come down, he was always the more aggressive one however still obedient, when it comes to speed I call for Tomio, Yuichi is the one for combat. I hop on his back, giving Naruto backup, Sasuke and Sakura staying with Tazuna.,
Yuichi goes for the water clone's head, biting it clean off, that broke down one barrier, we fall back allowing Sasuke and Naruto's plan. Yuichi, Sakura and I now protecting Tazuna, we were both covering his front and Yuichi his back. "Sasuke!" Naruto throws him a large collapsable shuriken, he smirks, "Fuuma Shuriken, the Shadow Windmill," he jumps up high and throws it at a curve to aim for Zabuza arm, however he catches it, he grins, "You think you can beat me!" but suddenly a second shuriken comes flying, he dodges it by jumping over it, we smirk, Naruto poofs and it was him! Teleportation shuriken genius! "Go Naruto!" Sakura shouts, he throws his kunai at Zabuza and he had no choice but to let go of Kakashi Sensei's water prison he was free, yes! They begin copying each other's hand signs, the four of us returning back together and protecting Tazuna, "You two were amazing!" I say, Sasuke blushes and Naruto rubs the back of his head, "It was nothing really when I created all those shadow clones, I transformed myself into that shuriken, the instant Sasuke held it, he knew it was me so he spun around and grabbed his own shuriken and created a shadow attack!" Naruto explains, "And to think I thought you two could never work together!" I giggle, they laugh, Kakashi and Zabuza created two large water dragons which attack each other, then Kakashi quickly creates a swirling water vortex, pushing Zabuza onto the land, "How! I was just about to create a water vortex! How did you know! Did you look into the future?" Zabuza stands up, Kakashi Sensei looks him straight in the eyes with his Sharingan, "Yes, yes I did. And this will be your very last fight." He was about to kill him, but something sharp stabs him in the neck, there was someone in the trees who killed him before Kakashi, my eyes widen, "No way..." I mutter, "I am an elite tracker, I'll be taking Zabuza," And with that, he left using a gust of wind. "Kakashi Sensei, are you ok!" I ask him, as we run-up, "Yeah, I'm fin-" He drops onto the ground, "Kakashi Sensei! Kakashi Sensei!" We shake him but no response, I check his pulse, "He seems to be alive, maybe he just used up too much chakra," I summon Tomio and place Kakashi Sensei on his back while we journey back to Tazuna's house. What a day that has been today.
