three-

jimin was a bit overwhelmed to say the least, everyone around him was buzzing with chatter and slurs towards the other houses. he knew slytherin's were supposed to be a bit rude but god damn.

"we're totally gonna beat those dumb assed gryffindor's this year!" one guy a couple seats down sneered causing a few to chuckle and murmurs of agreement.

"what about the ravenclaw's and hufflepuff's?" a girl who sat closer to him asked.

a few laughs erupted from all over the table. "hufflepuff's?? you've got to be kidding me." the same boy sounded close to tears, of laughter of course. "and don't get me started on those nerds in ravenclaw." there were more sneers thrown towards the two houses that jimin tried his best to tune out when a deep voice spoke up.

"you shouldn't judge the other houses when you don't know their ability, even if they are so damned annoying." a fluffy black hair boy said, his hand resting on his cheek, his elbow resting on the table. his eyes were closed.

the boy from before dramatically gasped, putting his hand over his mouth. "yoongi! since when have you gone soft? is their a special lady in huff-"

suddenly yoongi's dark eyes opened into a menacing glare causing some people around him to cower a bit. "don't get me wrong kibum," yoongi spat with so much ice that jimin flinched a couple seats down. "we're going to destroy all of the pricks in every quidditch game we play, but i'd rather do so humbly."

the boy from before, kibum, looked down and scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "yes of course yoongi." the other just closed his eyes again, leaning against the back of his chair. kind of like he was trying to sleep. jimin didn't know.

the first year girl next to jimin, jennie he remembered, shook his shoulder and whispered. "that's min yoongi, he's a very talented wizard and everyone get really intimidated around him. that's what my brother told me." jimin let out a fake 'ohhh'. he knew about yoongi, their parents both work together and used to put them on play-dates all the time when they were kids. childhood friends you could say. but it stopped about two years before yoongi went into his first year at hogwarts.

i wonder if we can be friends again, jimin thought as the silence of the table ceased, conversations and bickering starting up again.

taehyung fallowed hoseok to the dorms. the headmaster had dismissed everyone and almost the whole hufflepuff table sprinted at the opportunity of going to their cozy common room to hang out.

"ok so tell me everything about yourself!" hoseok said as they plopped down in one of the comfy, soft, brown couches that was littered with blankets. taehyung hummed, he didn't have a very interesting life, just a big family and cheap robes.

"my mom works at the ministry of magic in the muggle department and my dad owns this really cute bakery in diagon alley," taehyung pauses as hoseok let out a little aww. "i have a younger brother and sister and lots cousins." he finished with a content look on his face.

hoseok tilted is head a bit and looked at tae softly, "that's great. i like hearing about family," he said putting a big, blue, warm a blanket over both of them. "but i'd love to hear more about you." he finished, his warm smile looking kind like a heart and and his eye brows up turned in a facial expression that says 'but you don't have to tell if you don't want'

and so he did. taehyung told him everything.

from the way he felt when he got their first pet to when he got his wand at olivanders. he told him stories he he thought he had forgotten and stories he wanted to forget. he told him about the boy who came into his father bakery when he was nine and how his tiny heart had squeezed at how pretty he was. he even told him how his grandmother died a year back.

and in turn hoseok told him everything too.

about how he was muggleborn and how hard he had to work for people at hogwarts to accept him. he told him about how him and his sisters relationship was so very good and how much he loved his family. he told him about his special ability in herbology. and he told him about yoongi. he ever so hesitantly told him about yoongi.

many tears were shed, tears that only the other saw. and so many hugs. so, so many. taehyung for the first time in days felt so safe and confortable in hoseoks arms. he felt at home.

jungkook had a hard time sleeping that night. he felt so uncomfortable like he was being judged every second by the other ravenclaw's. he knew he wasn't but he just knew he'd feel better in the gryffindor dorms instead. he didn't belong here.

the next morning was even more rough, he woke up late and had to literally sprint to the dining's haul so he wouldn't be late, luckily no one cared to see him slip in twenty minutes after breakfast was served.

"christ." jungkook breathed after taking a seat, his agrenalin just coming down from running.

"what's that?" the ravenclaw girl next to him asked. she had pale skin, short black hair and and a very pretty face. jungkook blushes a little he always got a bit shy around new people.

"uhm, it's a religious thing?" jungkook said stumbling over his words a bit. the girl hummed in thought for a moment.

"what's a religious?" she asked. genuine curiosity written all over her face.

"religion," jungkook corrected with a smile. "it's a muggle thing, i'm not quite sure about it either." he said with a chuckle as the girl let out a short little "ohh".

"are you a muggleborn?" she asked a bit shortly, which confused jungkook a bit but didn't bother him enough to look more into it.

"no, but i've been living with one since i was little," he paused wondering if he should tell the girl about his parents. "because my parents passed away when i was young."

she looked at him, her sharp eyes filled with sympathy. "i'm sorry to hear about that." she said in a very soft voice compared to what it was before. it reminded him of his aunt very much, and he needed a bit of home right now.

"i'm jungkook," he said holding out a hand. "jeon jungkook." the girl stared at it for a moment before taking it with a small smile and delicate hands.

"min yoonji." she said brushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear.

they talked for the rest of breakfast before the clock signaled it was time for class, causing the students to slowly file out to get their books and quills.

"it was nice meeting you jeon jungkook," yoonji said as she stood. "we should sit together at dinner time as well." she spoke her final words before fallowing another girl out of the dining haul, leaving jungkook as the last ravenclaw at the table as he watched her leave.

did he just a make a friend?
