Hey everyone! Guess what? I'm back! I know I haven't posted anything for this book in about two months, but I got busy with school. I also had writers-block, but don't worry I'm back on schedule. Enjoy this chapter!

Zoe and I approach Julian after he turns around to face us in the hallway. Furthermore, the smile on Julian's face is friendly when he looks in my direction; however, the level of flirtatiousness in his smile is something to behold when he looks over at Zoe. I can see her skin becoming flush out of the corner of my left eye. Wow, they're totally into each other! I kind of feel like I'm third-wheeling, but that's okay as long as my sister is happy and safe.

I look over at Zoe, expecting her to break eye contact with Julian due to her social anxiety and fear I people, but she doesn't. I smile with happiness flowing through my veins as I look over at Zoe with a smile.

I clear my throat and remove my arm from around Zoe's shoulder, feeling slightly awkward. "Um, you guys," I say, politely and they look over at me, which causes them to snap out of the longing-trance that they were in a few moments ago.

"Huh?" Zoe awkwardly scratches the left side of her scalp before moving a strand of hair behind her ear. "What?" She looks at me. She bites the corner of her mouth.

I chuckle and shake my head as I look over at Julian, who is awkwardly looking over his shoulder in the opposite direction. "Nothing," I tell them was a small smile on my face. "Come on, we're going to be late for English class, guys." The moment that Z hears the word English class, her eyes become wide. Zoe looks down at the textbook that she's holding onto in horror.

"Damn it!" Zoe curses as she looks up from her Math textbook in my direction.

"What's the matter?" I ask my facial expression matching hers.

"I forgot my English textbook," she tells Julian and me with anger in her voice.

"So? Just go back to your locker and get it. We'll cover for you." Julian chimes in with confidence oozing from his voice as I nod in agreement with his statement as he smiles at Zoe with reassurance.

"I can't." Zoë sighs and runs I hand through her hair.."It's on my bed, at home with my project packet inside of it. I was in a rush. I overslept." Suddenly, the bell rings in the halls of the school become vacant with the student-body rushing off to their prospective morning classes, and all that remains is the three of us. Zoe begins to pace between Julian and me as we all stand in the hallway.

"I'm so stupid. Why did I have to oversleep?" Zoe begins to mumble to herself as she paces the hallway. Suddenly, she drops her textbook on the ground purposefully and squats down on to her knees. Zoe exhales and puts her hands in her hair, messing it up, it didn't take long for Julian and me to look at each other with expressions of concern. I look over at Zoe as she puts her head in her hands before standing up. After a few seconds, Zoe remotes for hands from her face and looks at Julian.

Zoe shakes her head and sucks the corner of her bottom lip in disappointment. "I have to go home and get it. I need that  textbook." As she's talking to Julian, I bend down and pick up her Math textbook off of the floor.
