Hello! Welcome to the next book In the issues duo. This is the last, but I have other books on the way. So I wanted to say thank you to all who read the first book. This one wouldn't have even been thought of if not for you all. So If this book has been released then that means 'Issues with being a cat' reached 10K reads, and for that, a reward is given to you! The second book!

So here it is, I hope you enjoy!

'Hey, Virgil.' I turn around and see Roman striding towards me, his shoulders were slightly slumped but his face shouted confidence.

'It's beautiful up here. All the cars, and people walking past just look so peaceful.'

'Yes, that's why my dad chose this place. The view.' He laughed a little.

'Roman, penny for your thoughts.'

'I'm just worried that you may get hurt. We still don't know what happened or who it was. Surely there is something that we can do?'

'I don't know what you're going to do, but I'm going to finish what I started. For Dee.'

'I was going to ask, how do you know him?' Romans body stiffened.

'We first met when I was around nine. I had just moved to the clouds and rainbows school, he was the only one who would talk to me. All the others made fun of me for not being able to talk at all. He helped me overcome my fear of talking to people.' I look back fondly at the memory, Dee was stood in the playground, defending me from the bully of the class. Then he became the target of the bully's words. So I gave him a piece of my mind. 'From then on, we did everything together. We even planned on going to the same college from about eleven years old. Then once we got to the high school years, we had different classes and I met you three. We haven't been as close since, But no matter what, he's still my brother. Forever.' The memory brought tears to my eyes and all I could feel was a heavy warmth wrap me in strong arms.

'I know he'll be fine. He wouldn't leave you.'

The words weighed heavy on my mind. As far as I know, we left each other when I found Roman. I started hanging with the trio more than Dee. So I think our bond has broken, but what's broken can be fixed if you care enough.

Patton and Logan walked in a few moments later, followed by Romans dad. Thomas walked over to us all and hugged us. This is the most I've felt of a family for years. I don't remember the last I felt like this.

'I'm sure you must feel tired. You will need the rest.'

With that, we all went to the rooms given to us. Roman led me down the halls of the apartment. The room we were in must have been Romans old one as there were a lot of old toys and no surprise, Disney, everything. Even the bed was Disney.

'Roman, what did you take with us? In the small box.'

'Just a personal item. Nothing special.'

'Something Special to you though.'

'I'll tell you in the morning. For now, you need to sleep.'

I don't push him further and I turn in for the night. 'Good night, Roman.'

'Good night kitten'

~time skip/POV change~ {third person}

It was the middle of the night. No one should have been awake yet there were six people. Six who could not sleep. Their minds are full of the horrors that have unfolded before them and of what may follow in the next few months. The fifth was filled with worry for those he is trying so hard to protect. Lastly the sixth lay awake planning on who the weaker target is and where they shall strike next.
