Sehun froze when he saw Hayoung's side profile. He clicked his tongue as he stared at her.
"This nerd can be pretty; only when side view." He immediately realized what he said so he shook his head. "Erase that. She's ugly. Tch."
He turned his back and left the rooftop silently. He didn't know why he followed her when his intention was to visit Shinhye for an advice.
"Noona." Sehun barged inside the school head's office without knocking and saw Shinhye talking over the phone so he just took his seat in front of her table as he waited.
Shinhye turned to him when she put her phone on the table. "Sehunah, aunt Oh called me earlier to inform that she has arrived. And she requested me to schedule a dinner with your fiancée's family."
'Right. Your boyfriend's a close relative of my so-called fiancée.'
"Noona, about that..." He sentimentally heaved a sigh as he seriously looked at Shinhye. "...I really don't want to get married, let alone that I have no knowledge about the person I am going to marry. Can you help me cancel the engagement? Well, you feel me, right? You were once arranged too."
Shinhye chuckled when she recalled her conversation with Hayoung earlier. Hayoung, the same with Sehun, badly wants to cancel the engagement that is why she ran away from home. Meanwhile, Sehun can't do the same thing especially that his family has eyes everywhere.
"Noona, did I say something funny?" Sehun asked, confused with Shinhye's reaction.
"Nope. It's just that I don't know what to do with you two."
Sehun brows furrowed. "Us two? Who's the other one?"
Shinhye gasped, realizing what she said. 'I almost slip. Sorry Hayoungie.'
She smiled and shook her head. "True. I was once in your situation and I never hated my parents for that because they just wanted the best for me. So I did everything to prove it to them that being with Jongsuk is the best thing for me. Jongsuk fought for our relationship too, which convinced mom and dad to stop the arrangement. And Sehunah, I believe that your parents also want the best for you."
"I know noona but..."
"Just find a way to prove it to them that you don't need this arrangement. I'll give you a week to convince your parents before I'll schedule a dinner date with your fiancée's family."
'Since your fiancée ran away, the Ohs are still looking for her thus they rescheduled the dinner.'
Shinhye might look calm but she's worried about Hayoung's situation. She knew that Hayoung's family cannot announce the situation in public because it will affect the family's reputation and Sehun's family might possibly cancel the engagement so they are now secretly looking for Hayoung.
Hayoung playfully patted her flat stomach after finishing her meal. "That was delicious. Jongsuk-oppa, you are the best." She mumbled to herself while looking at the sky. Then she remembered the paper that Shinhye gave to her earlier–list of the clubs in SMA High.
She scanned the names of the club and groaned when she can't decide where to join. Of course she can't join the cheerleading club since she's a nerd. Also the street dance club. And she doubted if the theatre club will accept her as a member.
"Hayoungah, you are not the heiress Hayoung here so you can't join any performance club. Stay lowkey, arasso?" She stood up and walked near the guardrail. "If only mom and dad understand my point, I would have not run away and leave my comfortable life. But they don't understand me and they don't consider my feelings. How can I marry someone else when I haven't even moved on from him?"
