ALL THE MARCH'S AND LAURENCES WERE OUTSIDE saying goodbye to Meg and Lily. Meg had received an invite from her friend to attend a party and since Jo was forced to go to a party last time, she brought Lily this time. Even with all the complaints and groans out of the girl, she still made her pack her bag somehow.

Lily looked over to Jo and Laurie in almost matching outfits and pretending to box. Lily's heart sank and she felt a pit of jealously grow inside of her. She hadn't ever felt this feeling before and was definitely confused. Meg saw the burning gaze she was giving to the two and grabbed her hand and gave it a small squeeze. Lily looked up at her older sister and gave her a grateful smile.

"Hurry up you two! Meg and Lily are going to be gone for a week !" Amy yelled at the two as they continued their "fight." They whispered a few things which made Lily grow even angrier. "It was so kind of Annie to invite me, thank you Marmee for letting me go." She said letting go of Lily's hand and grabbed both of their mothers.

"Just be who you are my sweets." Marmee spoke grabbing one of Lily's hands. Marmee pulled out a necklace and handed it to Meg. "It was mine when I was younger." She spoke smiling as Meg squealed. "Oh mother, thank you!" She said looking at the necklace with a huge smile.

Marmee faced the younger girl and pulled out something from her pocket, "Don't think I forgot about you my plant lover." She said handing her a bracelet that had a small red flower on it. Lily smiled at her mother and her bracelet. "Thank you Marmee. It's lovely." Lily spoke sliding it on her small wrist.

Lily looked up back to Jo and Laurie and saw as Jo have him a small wooden ring. Lily glared daggers at her older sister and snarled silently to herself.

Amy groaned, "Why can't Lily just swap places with me! I want to go and she doesn't!" She said crossing her arms dramatically. "Actually." Lily spoke, "I want to go. And i'm going to have fun if it is the last thing I do." She said confidently making everyone shocked. "Who are you and what have you done to my sister?" Jo joked making everyone but Lily laugh mainly because she was still salty at her.

Mr.Brooke faced Marmee. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Worry laced in his voice, mostly for Meg of course. "Girls have to go into the world, and make their minds up on things." Marmee spoke smiling proud at her two daughters.

"Don't forget about us." Jo begged making Meg laugh, "It's only one week Jo!" She spoke as Lily mumbled, "Oh i'll try my hardest." To which only Meg heard and shoved her silently.

Hannah handed Marmee two pairs of shoes, "They need decent shoes." She spoke. "Thank you again for the carriage Mr.Laurence, I don't know how to repay you." Meg said facing the older man. Mr.Laurence waved his hand, "Nonsense! Though there is one thing." To which Meg said, "Anything!"

"It occurred to me that my daughters piano suffers from want of use." He said aiming his words towards Beth. "Does it?" Meg asked confused yet interested. "Wouldn't one of you girls like to run over, and practice on it every now and then, just to keep it in tune? If they don't care then that's alright." Mr.Laurence said.

Beth revealed himself from behind of Marmee and nodded. "Oh sir, they do care! Very very much!" She blurted. Mr.Laurence smiled in satisfaction, "Are you the music girl?" He asked gently. Beth nodded, "I love it dearly! And i'll come if you sure nobody will hear me and be disturbed." She asked. Mr.Laurence waved once more. "Not a soul my dear." He said as Beth stepped back behind Marmee a smile grin placed on her face.
