Chapter 22

*Antonio's POV*

I have no idea what is going on with Lovino, we were fine yesterday and now he doesn't want to talk to me. Not to mention what happened this morning. It started off like a normal morning, but then Femke approached Lovino, then Francis and Gilbert went to Lovino to. They all walked in the school together not too long after that, so what happened?

I sit in the tree, looking up at the sky thinking over everything that happened. Trying to find something that happened, something I did wrong that would cause all of this. I know he was upset about me having a girlfriend but I thought we had talked that out. So what happened?

After a bit, I know Lovino isn't going to open the window. I look at the tree I'm in and snap off a twig, I reach out and start tapping on what I assume to be Feliciano's window. It doesn't take long before he opens the window and when he spots me his eyes widen.

"Ve~! Antonio ciao~!" he smiles at me

"Hola Feli~ can you let me in~?" I ask and his face grows nervous

"I-I'm sorry but I can't~ Roma told me not to~"

"Roma~?" I asked

"Ve~! Lovino~"

"Why did he tell you not to~?"

"Well I don't know but when the doorbell started ringing he told me now to answer the door~ then I asked why and he said because he knew it was for him but he didn't want to talk to who it was~ I know nothing else but Lovino doesn't really-" Suddenly there is a noise behind him and Feliciano jumps "Ah~! Roma~!"

"Close the window Feliciano." I hear Lovino say

"Ve~! But he is in the tree~! We can't just leave him in the tree~!"

"Yes you can, watch." Next thing I know Lovino slams the window shut and I see the two talking. It is obvious that the two are fighting, I can hardly hear what they're saying.

"What is going on Roma~? Why are you making him stay in the tree~?"

"I'm not making him do anything! He does it on his own free will it isn't my fault."

"Why can't you be nice to him~?! He care about you Lovino can't you let someone care about you~?!"

"It isn't that Feliciano! You don't know the half of what is going on! This isn't about emotional baggage!"

"Then what is it about Roma~?" Feliciano said and Lovino glanced out the window at me. The two then walked away from the window, no longer in my view. What is it about?

I sit in the tree until the sun sets and once it does Feli opens his window again, "You need to go home Antonio~" he said softly

"I won't give up~! I'm determined if I sit here he will talk to me~!" I say and Feliciano smiles sadly at me

"Except he won't~ trust me it's no use waiting here all night and it isn't safe~" I look at him for a moment and I can tell he is serious

"What did he tell you Feliciano~? Why is he ignoring me~?"

"I'm sorry Antonio but I can't tell you~ I wish I could but I promised I wouldn't~"

"But if I don't know what I did wrong I can't fix it~! If I can't fix it he won't talk to me~!" I say and Feliciano shook his head

"You didn't do anything wrong~ Lovino isn't mad at you~" I stare at him in confusion

"Then~" I pause "Why else would he ignore me~?" I ask

"I'm sorry~ but I've already said too much I wish I could help but I don't want to die~" he pauses "You should go home and get some sleep~! A good sleep will make you feel better~!" he said smiling brightly at me. I force a smile on my face.

"Yeah~ I suppose you're right~" I slowly and carefully make my way down the tree in the dark. "Thank you for what you told me Feli~" I look up at his window and he nods

"Goodnight Antonio~ Drive safe~"

"Goodnight Feliciano~" I head to my car and get inside. I lean back against the seat staring in front of me at Lovino's house. What is happening? We were fine 24 hours ago I don't get what happened. If he isn't mad at me then I don't know what brought this on, what happened this morning?

I don't know but there is one group of people who do. I open my phone and type out a text in our group chat.

'Meet me at my house in 15'  I send the text and drive to my house. It isn't long before the others arrive, and when they do we all sit in the living room

"What is going on Tonio?' Gilbert asks

"Lovino won't talk to me~ won't even look at me and we were fine yesterday~ I know he isn't mad at me so I need you to tell me what happened~"

"Why do you think we know Mon Ami~?" Francis asks

"Because you were all with him this morning~ So what happened~?" I ask and they both look at Femke, so naturally I do as well.

"Why me~?" Femke asks

"You were the one who originally approached Lovino~" I say simply

"When did this turn into an interrogation~?" Femke asks

"Since there is something you're not telling me~"

"Who said I'm not telling you something~?"

"Femke~! I know there is something you aren't telling me~ Lovino wouldn't willingly walk into school with Francis or Gilbert~ You don't usually walk into school with him~ Something is up~"

"Well we aren't the ones you should be talking to." Gilbert says crossing his arms

"I can't talk to Lovino he won't even look at me~" I say and they all look at each other 

"Lovino isn't the one we're talking about sweetie~" Femke says

"Then~" I pause "Who are you talking about~?"
