dude next door// MinJoong

knock knock.

Hongjoong couldn't sleep, he tossed and turned but nothing happened. He sat up and sighed "Shut up.. its like-" he looked at his alarm clock beside him, it was 11:40. Hongjoong tiredly rubbed his eyes and got out of bed. He headed towards a part of his apartment where the sound was coming from, someone has been knocking on his wall.

He sat in front of the wall where all the knocking came from and slightly knocked back, hoping that the knocking would stop. But instead he heard a voice, he knew it was possible, he was warned by the land lord that the walls of every ones apartment was hollow and thin, so hearing someone talking could easily be heard. A voice from the other side of the wall spoke.

" knock...knock.."

Hongjoong shivered, the voice was deep and sounded like something from a horror movie too. Hongjoong thought from a moment on what to do next. He took a deep breath and replied.

"W-who's there..?"

Hongjoong didn't know if this person was going to tell a knock knock joke or something but his response was his response. He waited for a moment, before hearing a slight chuckle then a response.

"Flower..."

Hongjoong's tenseness died down as he smiled softly. Maybe this person just wants to tell some jokes, maybe their lonely.. Maybe.. their  like.. me?

"..Flower who..?"

"Flower your today sweetheart..?"

Hongjoong was taken a back by the joke let alone the pet name that was suddenly given to him, a small blush appeared on his face, but then a giggle escaped his lips. But he assumed that the person beside the wall heard it because they two, started to laugh..

"Goodnight sweetheart.. Thanks for making my day a bit less terrible.."

He heard, Hongjoong slightly frowned, he wondered what could have happened. But then he realized, it was getting late and that he really should be sleeping. All jokes and pet names aside, Hongjoong was kinda happy that he made this strangers day happier. Hongjoong knocked twice and got a knock back.

"Goodnight.."
