I was walking home from school with Maddie. She was talking about Eddsworld, and Five Nights At Freddy's, but to be honest I wasn't really listening. All I could think about was the fact that I might have to leave her for good. I was the only one who didn't make fun of her for liking that stuff and well so did I. She got me started on it and now I might not get to see her again. If I do move I don't want it far. I love my friends and I can't just up and leave them. Once we arrived at my house last, Maddie was finishing her sentence.
"And that's why Freddy and Bonnie would be a really good couple,"
That's nice Maddie," I added to make her think I was paying attention.
"Maci," she broke my train of thought.
"Yeah," I responded.
"Did you hear me?" She asked.
"About Freddy and Bonnie?"
"Yes," she replied.
"Uh," I studdered.
"Maci," she laughed.
"Well I got to go home bye," she walked the other direction.
I laughed, and started walking down my driveway. Once I opened the door, I saw my mom packing boxes.
"Mom?" I asked.
She stopped running between the living room and kitchen.
"Maci," she started.
"Your father got a job offer in Alabama, so we are moving," she explained.
"Wait we're going back to the state you left two years ago?" I asked.
"Yes," she answered.
"Which meams I have to go to a new school again," I added.
"I'm so sorry sweetheart," she apologized.
"Here, go to your room and start packing," she handed me a box.
"Come back down when you need another one," she went back to packing pots and pans from the kitchen.
I sighed as I walked upstairs to my room. I loved it here in Nevada, it was so fun in the weekends I didn't have a football game to go to, we would go to Las Vegas, and Carson City. We would go to Utah, Colorado, Vermont, and New Mexico when we could. I was just chosen to become Drum Major of my high school's marching band, but now I'll just be the new kid who came in Senior Year.
"Maci," my dad started as he walked in from the garage.
"Hey Dad," I replied.
