The next morning, Haley found acceptance to her current living. There was a plight of pain still, but she ignored it as much as possible. "Hey, are you okay?", asked the same girl. When she inquired about her name, she found it was Nancy. It was easy to accompany her, as she had a really caring attitude. They ate food, which for Haley was pale and bland.
"What happened to you?", asked Nancy. This question was penetrating to Haley, as it brought a whole lot of memories to her mind. She had been trying to avoid such questions, but now she understood that idea was inevitable.
When Haley was born, her mother died. It was her father who made all the adjustments for her as a mother. He never showed her any painful ways of not having a mother, as he fulfilled her position much better. The only problem was that his sailing business required him every now and then. Thus, his presence was necessary as a sailor, more than a father for the upcoming of the family.
