The Crystal Ball

"Ugh! Let me go!" I scream while pulling as hard as I could as my friends try to hold me back but I just keep pushing and shoving them away from me "Katie common! Dont do this!" I hear one of my friends cry out, I keep struggling and pulling "Stop Katie!" I pull with all my might against the arms and hands grasping me and keeping me back "No!" I gasp for air from trying so hard to get away from their grasp "I..have...to...do...it!" Finally one of them loses their grip and bumps into Cassie one of my close friends losing her grip, there wasnt a lot of girls holding me back so I push as hard as I could and dash away from the squabbling girls, I clentch my credits tightly in my hand as the slow settle "Click...Clack" of my heels indicates I'm not going very fast, I try to pick up speed as I hear the cries of girls behind me saying "No stop!" "Dont do this its for your own good!" I breath heavily "I HAVE to do this!" I shout behind me, I'm almost there when my heel breaks, I stumble and fall to the ground, glancing behind me I see them approaching faster, I  whimper as I pick my self up and wipe the mud off my dress and start running...fast walking again, I go as fast as I can before I stop and take off my heels "I'm sorry baby's but momma got to run." I kiss each of them gently before setting them down and start to really run, I reach the door just as my friends are right behind me "Dont do this..." I hear Cassie say quietly, I look at her and look away at the door "But I must!" I start to open the door as I hear gasps and cries of the girls behind me "I'll see you when I'm back." I say softly before stepping into the room, I walk slowly up to the table in the center of the room, be cool and calm I remind my self, I walk to the table and see a man, I place down exactly 2700 credits, my life savings "That one." I point to a purple and pinkish crystal ball in the corner of the shop, the man moans and stands up, I watch him as he walks over grabs it, and then hands it to me "Thank you." I say quietly as I turn around and walk out of the room in front of my friends, their heads are lowered "You couldent wait for the sale could you..." Cassie says slowly shaking her head, I jump up and squeal "BUT I WANTED IT NOW!"  They lift their heads and nod "cone over to my place and well all try it on?" this made them happy they all jumped up and squealed "YAY!" I smile "See ya there!" I turn away and walk down the street happy
