2. The Concert

"Wake up sweetie" I heard my mom's voice waking me up.

I opened my eyes to watch my mother's face covered with blood. I looked with shock in my eyes as I covered my eyes.

"There's no need to cover your eyes, look at us, look at what you did." She said in a threatening voice.

I sat up on my bed, with my whole body covered in sweat, my hands shaking. It was just another nightmare. They had been occuring since the death of my parents.

I pushed off the covers and went to the bathroom. I splashed water on my face and took out my sleeping pills. I had been using them since a long time. I took my pills and made my way towards the bed.

I laid for what seemed like hours, but couldn't get any sleep. The events that took place on the day of the accident.

Sighing I took a look at the watch, it was already 7 am. Let's get this day started. I first checked my phone to see Niall had posted the picture with the caption - Night's like this. I have to admit it, he was really cute. I have a small crush on him, I mean who doesn't. The way he takes my name, the way he touched my knee, the way he took my hand. Uughhh Maya it's just a job keep it professional, I reminded myself.

I brushed my teeth, took a shower you know did the usual things. I wore a simple white and black striped shirt, with black high waist jeans.

I then hailed a cab and went to the venue were the live interview was supposed to take place.

The interview was done. I had a blast during it. My co- stars were always like my family. They were too friendly.
During the whole interview I used my left hand to draw more attention to my bracelet.
I checked my phone to see Niall's message.

I have a concert tonight. Be there.

I texted back.

Okay.

He had already texted the address so I just hailed a cab and went there. I reached the venue and as was going to walk inside the security stopped me.

"I know Niall Horan, I am his girlfriend." I said.

"I'm sorry mam, but we have to see some proof." He said. I do not blame him, he was just doing his job. Sighing I took out my phone and dialled Niall's number which I had taken during last night's drive. After a couple of rings he picked up.

Hi, where are you?

I am outside, I don't have the pass so they wouldn't let me inside. Can you come out?

Sure, I'll be there.  He said as he hung up. After a few minutes he came and boy he looked handsome. He was wearing a plain grey shirt tucked in his black jeans and a black jacket. His hair was messy.

As he came near my heartbeat was growing faster. He took a halt as he came in front of me. His presence towering over me.

"You look gorgeous." He said.

"Thanks" I muttered as a blush crept on my cheeks, turning into the brightest shade of red. He sightly pushed a strand of my hair behind my  ear as he traced my cheek with his finger.

"Let's go" he said as he took my hand in his and guided me into the venue. The security guarded just nodded at Niall and he did the same.

As we were walking towards what I believe was his green room I looked at our hands. His hand had completely covered my hand. Our hands were like puzzle pieces which were meant to be.

He stopped before a door and gently pushed it open. We entered his green room, it was plain just like every other.

"So, this is my green room for the day" he said. "It's huge." I said. He replied," it is."

He continued," Maya, I have to go for soundcheck, so you can hang out here."

I nodded as I yawned. Damn these sleeping pills work at the wrong time. He was about to leave when I called him," Niall"

He turned around," Yeah?"

"I had a very long day, do you mind if I sleep here till your soundcheck."

He let out a chuckle," Sure, go ahead."

I let out a smile and watched him as he made his way out and carefully closed the door so that I could peacefully sleep. I took one quick glance across the room and made my way towards the huge couch.

I didn't even had the energy to remove my shoes so I slept like that.

I woke up to the feeling of something rock hard under my head. I looked up to see Niall sleeping. My left hand and head was placed on his chest, his left hand was wrapped around my shoulder so was is jacket which he was wearing earlier and his right hand was placed on my bare waist as my shirt didn't cover that area. I was practically sleeping on top of him because of lack of space.

Just as I was about to get up someone from peeked from the door, " Good, you're up. Can you please wake Niall up and tell him it's time to get ready?"

"Sure" I replied. The person left.

I gently placed my hand on his cheek and said," Niall, wake up." but still he didn't answer after a couple of more attempts he shot his eyes open.

"What happened?" He said.

"Nothing, it's time to get ready" I said as I got up. At that time I realised that he had removed my shoes.

"You removed my shoes?"

"Yeah" he said as he got up into a sitting position.

"Aww, thanks" I said.

"Your welcome" he said in the same tone. We both started laughing. Our laughter was interrupted by a girl coming in," Niall, time for makeup."

"Yeah" he said as he got up and stood beside me." Hannah, meet Maya my girlfriend." He said as he put his arm around my waist and his fingers touched my exposed skin, which sent shivers down my body.

"Hi, I am Niall's makeup artist." She said as she moved forward her hand forward to which I reluctantly moved my hand forward giving her a handshake.

" Hi" I said back.

"Babe, I would love too see you two talk but Hannah we need to get ready." Niall said.

"Yeah, you take a seat. I'll be back in a minute." She said as she walked out.

Niall removed his hand and the same moment I missed his touch. I wish I could stay in his arms forever.

Pushing my thoughts away I saw him go and take a seat at one of those makeup chairs.
