The Faerie Queen

"Get up Cassidy!" Jennifer yells from down stairs, she's my annoy mother who I have to live with.

"Fine!" I scream back down at her. She interrupted my thoughts I was thinking about the guy at the shops last night. He was hot. Blonde curly hair, amazingly blue eyes. The thing that really bugged me though, is the way it felt to be near him, it felt like I kinda knew him.

"Hurry up you'll be late for school!"

"I'm coming!"

"Oh my gosh, took your time!" My BFF Lauren was practically bursting, this can't be good, more boy talk.

"What is it?"

"There's this new boy and oh my god he is soooooo hot........" She drowns on and I automatically tune out. "..... Oh look it's him." She points to a guy in a crowd of 10th graders and oh my god it's him, at my school. I can't believe I have a crush on him I haven't liked anybody since 6th grade, man I think I'm going insane, he'd never like a girl like me with brown unruly, long hair and hazel eyes. But what can I say, I can hope. The bell goes as our eyes meet and I rip my eyes away and hurry off to home room with Lauren in tow.

I'm suffering through a double period of English trying not to let my thoughts wonder when I catch my name. "Yes?" I answer out loud.

"Would you care to tell us were your thoughts are, Cassidy?" Answers Mr Anderson.

"No, sir."

"Ok then, how about 250 lines 'I must pay attention in class'?"

"Yes, sir."

I walk into the detention room and are to preoccupied with my thoughts to notice there is someone in there already. It's not until I'm half way through my first line that I feel eyes on my back. I turn, big mistake, he's there, watching me.

As the bell goes to signal the end of break I look down and notice that I've only written 10 lines.

"I guess I'm coming back tomorrow." I mutter.

The home bell goes and I'm off. Yes! I'm free, now I just have to endure the walk home with Lauren chatting my ears off.
