"Another tedious day of school.." sighed Xamira. "Well, at least today is go back in history day. Perhaps it will be a little less tedious than usual." It's the year 2520, and androids have recently been invented. Luckily, Xamira managed to get the newest model. Xamira commanded her robot to make her breakfast; she quickly consumed her breakfast, which were her favorite, pancakes. "Shoot! I almost forgot my breathing mask, wouldn't want to catch the corona virus now would I." She packed her bag with a tool that removes bacteria from anything and her anti-germ spray. And off she went to school in her flying Tesla.
Xamera gazed from the windows and looked at the futuristic buildings, and saw all the robots and people walking around. Well, most people didn't walk. They just used their floating device to move around. Some people held the newest iPhone 22, which didn't even have a border. Everyone was wearing masks, and spraying the anti-germ spray everywhere. Everyone had to stay at least 4 feet from each other. And no interaction whatsoever. The sky began to glitch. "Must be an issue in the machine." Thought Xamira.
She thanked her car for driving her to school and stepped on the ground. She strolled to her classroom and saw all of her friends who looked very excited about go back in history day, but she felt the complete opposite. The other kids were playing with their clone and teleportation machines while she just sat and waited patiently for her robot teacher to come back from the charging station. The teacher didn't use a whiteboard, but instead a large touch screen which had no borders and including a pen to draw on. For the chairs they were floating and so was the table. All the kids had their breathing masks on and couldn't interact with each other. Playing tag was forbidden in all schools. The walls were painted turquoise and there were mini androids scattered around for the kids to play with. Xamira used her phone to entertain herself for a while.
Finally their teacher Ms. Cynthia had come back. "Hello everyone. As you all know, today is go back in history day. The school got multiple time traveling machines just for this particular day. Everyone will be assigned a date in history to experience and learn how life was like back then. Now I am going to assign the dates to everyone." Xamira waited anxiously for her date. "Cyberia, you get July 28th 1914 WW1. Calix you get the Black Death 1300." Ms. Cynthia later assigned everyone their roles, Xamira's was the last one. "And finally, Xamira, you get COVID-19 2020. When this virus began." Xamira was very pleased with this news since she has a chance to save the world, and maybe even prevent it from happening. "Okay class, you all know the rules. No interfering with anyone. Just sit and observe."
They all got into the time traveling machine one by one, and Xamira looked around in the classroom one last time before she went in. She closed her eyes and all of a sudden she found herself in China. She looks around while thinking to herself "Wow. Those phones look so weird. Where are the androids and where are their masks?" But soon she remembered she's gone back in time 500 years back. She wandered around and saw everyone wearing normal masks, and someone taking their dog for a walk. "Wow, they used to have animals. I thought they all went extinct.. strange.." mumbled Xamira. Xamira wasn't wearing a mask or had any protection. She walked into a hospital and tried to help the doctors. In the future there was a medicine, but it wasn't very helpful. Xamira was foolish and thought that if she gave the doctors the medicine the virus would go away. But that's not the case.
Xamira hadn't known that the virus was this powerful. Later on, she felt very ill and weak. She began to cough continuously and it had started to feel like she couldn't breathe. Nobody helped her because they were too scared of their own well-being. And there she stood coughing and getting paler and paler as time went on. She then took her final breath and sadly perished right on the spot. But before anyone could see her body, the time was up. Everyone came back happy and cheerful. While Xamira's body was just laying around helplessly. The teacher ordered for them to try and revive her. But it was too late.. Xamira was gone. She perished long ago, and they couldn't do anything to help.
