Raiden's POV

I'm awake but I don't need to get up since it's my day off, which is Sunday. I realized I was staring at the window as the sun lighting up my room.

I took my phone from my small table beside my bed and turned it on. It's 8:30 am, should I get up? I thought. I looked at my to-do lists on my phone to check what I have to do today.

Sunday

10 am Clean my room
11:30 am Wash my clothes
12:30 am Lunchtime...

The rest were about cleaning here and there but the last thing I had to do made me a bit sad.

4 pm Meet dad.

I heard footsteps before someone opened my door. "Raiden? Are you up?", my mom asked with a husky voice.

"Y-Yeah, I'm up," I said as I stretched out my arms and looked at her. I noticed her eyes were red and asked, "Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm okay. I just finished a Korean drama TV series," she answered.

"Hmm, let me guess..." I sat up, "You didn't sleep, right?" I said while raising one eyebrow.

"Well yeah but I'm gonna get some rest later after we have lunch." She answered with a smile. "Get up and get dressed, it's 9 am already."

She closed the door and left. It's fine for me because she only does it once a month, watching and finishing a TV series. I finally got up and walked towards my closet. "Damn..." I muttered when I opened it and saw how messy it was like an earthquake that happened in there. I took the white t-shirt on the floor and smelled it. Well, it didn't stink. So, I closed my closet and got dressed.

I walked out of my room and closed the door behind me. I heard a squeaking noise as I walked downstairs and headed to the breakfast table. Mom was there, putting down some plates with bacon and eggs. She noticed me as I sat down on a chair.

"Well, here is your favorite." Mom said as s smile appeared on her face. I smiled and thanked her. I took a fork from the table and used it to eat some of the food. I moaned, "It's been a long time since I last atche this." I said while my mouth was full. Mom chuckled, "Don't talk when your mouth is full, my dear. Here." She put down the coffee she made for me before she drank hers. I swallowed my food, "Thanks, I needed some energy since I'm gonna do something today."

After I finished my breakfast, I put all of the plates in the sink and washed them. I went upstairs to start cleaning my room and then do my other chores. After a few hours, I was finally done. I took a bath and wore new clothes. Since I still have a few hours as I waited for mom to finish cooking our lunch, I thought of going out to our backyard. I wore my shoes and went outside. Our house is kinda old, it was our grandparent's. They gave this house to us after I was born. It's a two-level Blue and White House, with a small terrace in front and a garage. Even though it's old, it still looked beautiful and peaceful because, behind our backyard, there's a garden and a treehouse. It's my favorite place to stay whenever I'm feeling down, I want to be alone or bored. It looked like from HSM 3 movie but it's a bit bigger and the rooftop doesn't open. My dad made this treehouse when I was 9 years old. This is the only thing that he left for me.

As I got to my treehouse, I climbed up and crawled to sat down on my small bed. I looked around to check it until I saw a box with 'pictures' on it. I stood up and picked it from the table. I opened it and I didn't expect the first thing I'll say is my old baby picture. I wondered why it's here but then I remembered, I don't want my mom to show it to her friends when they got bored, so I put it here. I sat down on the floor and put the box beside me as I took one by one of my photos out of it. I placed it down on the floor and one photo caught my attention. A picture of her while looking at the moon and a memory came into my mind.
