"Screech!" I opened the gate leading to the ranch and walked in. I looked for my favorite part of the ranch, the horses. I spotted the horses and ran towards them. One horse stood out to me, it was a white stallion. Its shoulders sticking out, its chest puffed out, and its hind legs were thin, but strong. I opened the gate and walked into the horse's stable. It was the messiest stable in the history of horse stables. I walked in, and jumped over lumps of hay. As soon as I looked away for a second, I stepped on one of the lumps of hay. The stallion neighed and jumped up. Behind it was a sign that said, "Spark the white stallion".
"Calm down boy," I said noticing that Spark was mostly a boy's name. "Wow you sure are very sensitive about your lumps of hay."
Spark calmed down, and shoved the pieces of hay back into a lump. I held up my hand, waiting for it to touch Spark's messy mane. Spark moved his head closer and closer until it touched my hand. I could feel his silky mane move and tickle me. I really liked this horse, and I knew Spark liked me back. I wanted to get him, but I knew my mom got a horse named Mia. The whole reason I came here was to get her. I liked Mia but I liked Spark too.
"I wish I could have both," I thought, but my mom said two horses were too expensive.
