its beginning

I woke up and Will was beside me. He was cute. He woke up and looked at me. "Good morning, Maria. How are you?" "I'm good, what about you? After yesterday?" "I feel a little out of it, but otherwise, I'm doing pretty good." I looked at him and we smiled at each other. He leaned in quickly and pecked my lips. I smiled. We got up and went into the kitchen for breakfast. Joyce was allowing us to stay home from school so will can feel better and I can comfort him. Joyce checked his tempature. She made a strange face. "Is it a fever?" Will asked her. "No....it's cold..... actually" she replied. She went to get him a hot bath going, and I sat beside him. "Are you ok Will? Do you think this has something to do with what happened yesterday?" I said, grabbing his hand in my own, intertwining our fingers. "I don't know, it's weird. I feel strange, like, I can't explain it." He told me. "That's ok. I think I know what's happening, though" I said after thinking. "Do you feel the shadow everywhere in you? And see these weird memories?" He nodded. I still didn't fully know what was happening, but it has something to do with my father, the mind flayer, or what Will calls him, the shadow monster. I know what I had to do. "Will!! Your bath is ready!!" Joyce shouted. "Go take a bath. I'll be right back, ok?" He nodded and left the room. I teleported to the upside down.

I am immune to the toxicity, so I was able to breathe normally. I ran throughout the upside down, and saw him. My father. "What have you done to Will?!" I asked him. He told me through my mind that he now has a host and will now conquer the world, reaching through Hawkins first. "NO!!!!" I screamed and teleported back to the kitchen of the Byers' home. My nose was bleeding, but I just wiped the blood away. Joyce walked in. "Where did you go, sweetie? Will was asking for you." "Mrs. Byers? You know about the upside down? I'm from there. I'm the daughter of the shadow. I have powers and that thing has done something to Will, and it wants to take over earth. I teleported there." Her jaw dropped. I started crying. She hugged me and Will walked in. He heard the whole conversation. He glared at me. He was shirtless. "Will. You heard everything, didn't you? Please don't hate me. I left the upside down to get away from him. He's evil. He's done something to you, saying you're a host. We have to get it of of you. Somehow." His expression softened and he hugged me. "I just have one question, why are you shirtless?" "He likes it cold." Was all he said.
