We're not just friends... [A Coinpin Story]

1. First Day

Coiny's POV

Beep Beep! Beep Beep! Beep-

I hit the snooze button on my alarm clock and tried to go back to sleep.

"Honey, it's time for school!" My mom said.
"Ugghhhh..." I groaned. "I don't wanna!"
"Come on, it's your first day of high school! You don't want to be late for it? Come on!" My mom gleefully said.
"Fine..." I groaned again, as I made my way to the bathroom.

My name's Coiny, Coiny Copper. Today was my first day of high school. I, of course, wasn't to eager to get up as I was, well, sleeping. I got up, brushed my teeth and washed my face, put on new clothes, went downstairs and started eating breakfast. As I was eating breakfast, I was scrolling through my Twitter feed, I liked all my friends posts, which were pretty much all just them goofing off and having fun on the weekends. After I finished my breakfast, I packed my school bag up and went out to where my mom was, she was going to drive me to school.

"Are you all ready, sweetie?" My mom said.
"Yep, just need to check, and yeah, I have everything." I replied.
"Alrighty then, let's get going!" She said as she started the car's engine.

I hopped on and we drove off to the school. I'm gonna be real here, I was kind of excited to start my first day of high school, my friend Blocky and I got accepted and I can't wait to see him there.

1 hour later...

I fell asleep in the car because I was pretty tired getting up this morning, that's when I suddenly hear the car engine turn off.

"We're here!" My mom cheered. She was as eager to see my go to school as I was to go to school myself, but it didn't seem like it on the outside.
"Already?" I questioned.
"Yep, and we need you in that building." She said.

I looked at my phone and saw that it was 7:45, almost time to start class, I hurriedly got up and kissed my mom goodbye. She waved, got in the car and drove off.
"Wow..." I said to myself. "This place is massive!"
It certainly was, it was huge, probably stories tall, it had a very modernistic look to it, and it just looked amazing. But couldn't just stand there in awe looking at this building, I needed to get going! So I rushed towards the school and entered it. It was beautiful.

"Do you need anything?" A person questioned to me.
"Oh, -um, yeah. I need to figure out which class I'm in."
"Okay, I need a name, please." She said
"My name is Coiny Copper." I replied.
She typed up my name on the computer and found the information.
"You're class number is 452, and you need to go to room 127 to check in."
"Thank you, ma'am." I told her, and I headed off to room 127.

So this was my first chapter to this Coinpin story I'm making! To be honest, I know that this is short, but I've never made a REAL novel before, so let's just say that this is a kind of, like a "starting point" or something. I really hope that you enjoy this chapter as I continue to make more and more. Yeah... cya people tomorrow or something idk...
