Envy of the Moon

He was late. That utter jerk was late for midsummer. He better have good excuse or he is gonner this time. Last week John B told me he applied for job. An actual job in the local advertising firm. I asked him why and was he not happy working for my dad.
His excuse he wants to be better for me I rolled my eyes. The guy is too harsh on himself. He is just eighteen and he wants to do it all. When I asked what has he applied as he said trainee some sort.
He applied and he got the job and now he is bloody well late. Its not summer job i agree but i well have to go and make a solo entry at midsummers.

I had plans for tonight plans for me and John B to make an entry to come out with him and he did'nt come.

The party is in full swing. Men and women are getting drunk and dancing and having good time. I am enjoying as well i dance with my dad and my little sister.

I had good chat with kie and we bonded in ways to kill John B for missing out the party.

I smile at the whole situation. Me and John B.
He was last guy I would date till last month.
Now he is just the only guy I can think about being with. Something changed and its not that i like John B its that I want to be with him like in all his situation. I want to be beside him. He is not the most perfect guy or anything he is just my guy i feel at ease with him he is someone who is my first thought and my last. I shake my head sure sarah you will now say you see stars with him. I almost laughed at that.

Just then I spot the guy whose thought won't leave me.

"John B you are late" that's my dad.

"Yeah Mr Cameron something Cameron up" he replied with guilty smile.

"Sarah is waiting for You" my dad says.

"Yeah I will meet her now" with that he makes his way towards me he did'nt see me yet I see him from far he is in his tux which look quite good on him his hair is for once nicely made.

"You cleaned up nicely hot date?" I say from behind.

He turns around and sees me.

"Woah Envy of the moon" He says.

"Whaaat" i laughed.

He points towards sky embraces me with his arms around my waist.

"You are the Envy of the moon tonight" He says with so much adoration in his eyes.

"Wow John B that really is better then ummm".

"Hi" He says and kisses me.

"Hi" i say and do same.

"I have some news" he says with glow and pride in his eyes.

"Oohhkk".

"I got accepted in chaple hill collage full ride" he smiles.

I scream actaul scream and hug him tight...

I was going to go to Chaple hill collage and asked John B to join but he did'nt want to go with my dad's fund. He applied anyways and he is in now. I can totally forgive him for coming late for this news alone.

I have my forehead touched to his I open my eyes he was looking into my eyes and he said "Sarah I can see the stars".

I closed my eyes just to capture the essence of this moment and how perfect everything was. I was not delusional to think I will be like this forever.

But for now yes it was perfect.

"John B i can't be Megan fox for you" i told him and laughed hard at his expression.

He gets the joke and pulls me closer and kissing me deep.

" I have someone who is  envy of the moon"

We both laughed and We both knew many more are to come.
