Colby was at Sams filming a video with him. Isolation had been hard for you because you didn't like being indoors, you much preferred being outside and exploring. Being bored was not great for your mood, you had been grouchy and uninspired, so Colby had to deal with this and you felt bad. You started on some comfort food for the both of you guys which were y/f/cf and y/f/cf. Afterwards, you changed into some pyjamas and put his on your shared bed which was sweatpants and he usually didn't sleep with a shirt but you gave him one of his half and half shirts since he loved them and wore them often. Next, you grabbed all the blankets and pillows you could find and his tall tripods with some bedsheets. Your plan was to make a fort since it one of the many favourite things you liked to do together, so you set up the tripods and draped the sheet over the pole you placed in the middle. The pillows and blankets were next so you grabbed them in a big heap and just let them go after you got to the middle of the fort. You went over to dim the lights and grab the food. The last step was to put on y/f/s, you and Colby were currently binging it so you were excited to watch another episode. Now it was just a waiting game.

*time skip*

Colby texted you to say he was just grabbing his equipment and then he would be with you in a minute, so you got out of the fort and stood near the front door ready to open the door for him since he usually struggled to do anything with camera equipment in his hands. You heard the knock and open the door but instantly greeted him with

"Close your eyes" so he closed his eyes and you grabbed his equipment and placed it on the kitchen tabletop then went back to him to guide him inside

"Wait why what did you do y/n?"

"So you know how I've been grumpy and titchy during this whole staying inside thing?"

"Yeah" he replied slightly dragging the last of it in confusion

"I decided to make up for it and surprise you," you saw his smirk grow

"Colby no not now"

"Aww why"

"I have something better in my opinion" you stopped in place and positioned him at a good angle "Open your eyes"

"Aww baby this is too cute," he said as he wrapped his arms around you while showering pecks all over your face

"I made some food and put some comfy clothes on the bed so get changed and then we can watch y/f/s"

Colby ran off to the bedroom while you turned the T.V on and get everything set up. You settled down in the mountain of blankets, Colby walked in and lay down next to you as you moved to lay in between his legs with a blanket over the top of you guys. After you both finished the snacks, you decided to get up and grab your phone to order some Postmates since it was almost 10 at night and you guys hadn't had a proper meal. Colby saw you weren't focused on him and changed it to YouTube and brought up Blessed by Daniel Caesar. After ordering dinner you turned around to see Colby standing up and looking at you, you noticed Blessed was on the screen. Colby held out his hand gesturing for a dance and he pressed play as he wrapped his hands around your waist and you put yours around his neck. While swaying to the rhythm with him he went down to your ear

"I love you y/n y/l/n" you moved your head to look at him in the eyes

"And I love you too Colby Brock" you connected your lips in a loving kiss then returned to you leaning your head on his chest and his head on top of yours. The doorbell rang and postmates were there, you had finished dancing a while ago and were currently getting another episode ready. Colby got the door and paid the man. After you guys had finished eating you begun to get drowsy, you were in the same position you were in before. His body heat and the occasional kiss on the head weren't helping with the plan in staying awake. Soon after Colby noticed he turned off the T.V as well as the lights, deciding to clean up tomorrow, he lifted up your tired body to bed. Colby took off his shirt and got in on the other side of the bed and wrapped his arm around and you both fell asleep soon after.
