“What? Why? How?” I had so many questions on my mind that I didn’t know which to ask first.

“Elle, relax a bit. We needed a place to live, so I found one.”

“We have a home, back where your pack lives.” Their alpha had more of less gone AWOL, and I was going to do what it took to make him see that up and leaving, wasn’t doing anyone any good.

His hand on the door handle, pulling the latch and pushing the door forwards. One leg stepped out from the car, as the other stayed in. His body half shifted, “It’s a great house. I think you’re really going to like it here.”

Judd left the car, and I just stared as he walked to the front door, slid in the lock and walked inside as if it was the easiest thing in the world. Turning back at Theo, I gave him a confused look which he mirrored.

Judd wasn’t thinking about anything, he was trying to put the past behind him by focusing on the future, or forcing the future on us. It had only confirmed my suspicious. My dear, and dominate mate was depressed. He had to be, no one was this sane to go out in the middle of the night and buy a house. Not when he was a werewolf and had a pack back home that he needed to go and run.

I decided to amuse myself, and risk the chance of going into labour by giving up the panicking inside my mind, and just letting him do this. If this is what he needed to be happy for the moment, and to get through his demons, then I would play the role of supportive wife, and well… support him.

Waddling my tiny body to the front door, there were no lights on inside which made sense as we hadn’t even connected the power. Theo was staggering behind, giving us a moment of privacy. I don’t know why, our privacy was already invaded when he’d heard me eagerly, sucking his brother dry like a desperate hooker.

I’m not ashamed for being this horny, better than walking around wet between the thighs all day. I’ve got the man, I may as well put him to work and by work, I mean have him lay on his back and let me do what I damn well needed to do to sate my uncontrollable desires and horniness.

He loved it, and good for him. Because, once this giant wolf is out of my body, there was going to be one hell of a drought. No way, was I putting out for a loooong time.

“What do you think?”

He meant about the house, but I had other questions. “You didn’t shift?” I stated calmly. My voice wasn’t judgemental, it was mere curious. I wanted to know why he put himself in such a dangerous predicament, and at an extremely high risk for dying.

Judd, looking at me, head rolled to the side, as did his eyes. “You need a fucking muzzle?” he groaned, talking out to Theo with a growl.

“Nope.” Theo appeared at the door with a charming grin, and took a step inside and I fought the urge to laugh. He looked absolutely ridiculous wearing Judd’s clothing. They were too big for him, everywhere. “All good out here, just tell me which is my room,” he winked. “I need to make some, arrangements and minor adjustments.”

“What?” my face scrunched up confused. “Adjustments?”

“You’re not moving in with us.” Judd was moving towards him at a slow, predatory pace. “Go home Theodore. You have a pack to run.”

Theo, scoffing. “Nice try. Like I can run a pack, you can’t just give the title to someone else. You leave, so does the Alpha. Instead of buying a house, which is way too nice for you, come back with me and work something out.”

“I have nothing back there to go back to.” Yes, you do. I wanted to say that so badly.

“What about mum?” Theo asked. “She needs you.”
