The world really needs to stop messing with me.
Am I being dramatic?
Well, no. I'm not.
But you see, a girl's gotta react to certain things.
And I am going ballistic!
Why do you ask??
It's because out of all the damn people and agents in the world,
I am being paired up with the most insufferable man on Earth.
See? The world hates me.
What did I do?
Do you really wanna know what went down?
So I was called in by our HEAD CHIEF to his office for an urgent meeting.
When I knocked on the door, I heard a faint enter and what I saw shocked me to the core.
So there inside was Mr. Kwang with a very happy and confident Jeon JungKook.
Mr. Kwang offered me to sit and I did.
I was sitting across from Jeon.
Obviously the guy was eyeing me.
But I didn't mind him and faced our Chief.
"So I'm glad that you're here now L. It's been awhile since I had the two of you in my office. Am I right? "
We both nodded.
Confusion evident in our faces.
We intently stared at our boss to find him smirk at us.
"So let's make this conversation quick ayt? I asked you to be here because I have a new mission for you. And that mission includes the two of you as partners. "
"WHHHATTTTT?" Both of us shouted at the same time.
Clearly not liking the idea one bit.
"I'm sorry sir. But did I just hear you say that I need to be partnered up with Jeon? " I asked to clarify.
He smiled and said.
"Yes, you heard me right L. You and Jeon will work on this case together. "
Abruptly Jeon stood up.
"Are you kidding me Sir? Me with her? Are you trying to get us killed? I can't work with this freak! " He said exasperatedly.
"Not to be rude or anything Sir but L and I can't be in the same room not to mention work together. It's just not possible. We would end killing each other even before the mission starts. " He added.
"Sir, with all due respect, this idea of yours is insane. I can't even stand the thought of being in the same room with this imbecile and now you expect us to work as a team. That's just bring WORLD WAR 3 sir. I can't promise not to strangle this guy over here. " Pointing at JEON.
"And I can't work with a brat! Honestly, I can do this mission alone. It would work much more pleasantly for the both of us. " Jeon commented.
Jeon then glared at me.
"I am NOT a BRAT. You're stupid and arrogant! " I exclaimed.
"What did you just say to me? FYI, I'm the best agent here. You're just a loser who obviously had a lot of luck with her missions. " Him proving his point.
