chapter one

it was half past twelve,as Victoria lay on her bunk bed with a wrapper rounded around her 

covering from her breast to her knee. the leaves outside the room swayed to the humble tune of nature, as every pint of wind penetrated into Victoria room soothing her body.

A slight knock was impacted on the wooden door, which made nil impact on her sleep. christie her bunk partner, moaned to the sound of the knock. another knock was sounded, but this time, with more impact from the latter. christie opened her eyes and murmured some words under her breath. she shook the wooden bunk with all her weight in an effort to wake victoria up, but to no avail. victoria was known to be a deep sleeper.

another knock was heard, but this time with the shout of an angry man shouting,' you girls should open this door', christie quickly jumped down and tapped victoria on the shoulder while adding "wake up", victoria sleepily opened her eyes and shut them back immediately,   at the sight of this christie let out a defeating sigh and walked towards the room door.

as she tilted the door knob, in front of her stood a huge dark man, wearing a black singlet with grey boxers and an angry look pasted on his face. without acknowledging her presence, he scanned the room behind her. Christie, in an effort to get noticed, waved her hand in front of the man and added "so who are you looking for mr", the huge man, glanced at christie and back at the room as he added

"oga sent me to call victoria"          

"it nother duty day, so what for"?hristie asked with a puzzled look 

the expression on the mans face changed as he growled"do i look like ogas brain, just wake victoria so i can take her to him".

christie surged as she retreated back to the room to call victoria.

"vicky,wake up oo, it seems like your on duty and you forgot" christie said while tapping her shoulder. 

"what is it" victoria replied angrily as she squinted her eyes in an attempt to open them

"oga sent a servant to call you, i think it your duty", "i think you should go now to avoid any scene from occurring again" christie added.

"hey, you really should stop reminding me of that day"said as she stood up from the bed and walked towards the door.

on seeing the huge man at the door, victoria rolled her eyes and said"oo you again, so why is he calling me this time" 

"just follow me, i think it for your duty"
