tae visited jungkook's house right after he read that message. he wondered what jungkook has to do with his sister's death.

he found out what it meant when he rearranged the alphabets. he took a letter from taeyeon's message and changed it to the third letter after the current alphabet. for example, g = j.

>> jungkook's house.

he wasn't furious or anything. he knew the two were very close. taeyeon was most comfortable with jungkook among the others. everyone knew that anyway. so why was she telling him to go to jungkook's house? or perhaps she placed a clue there?

tae couldn't wait to know everything. he needed to know why his sister did what she did. he needed to understand. because for now, he couldn't trust anyone. his sister told him not to.

tae had already called jungkook on his way to his house to tell him that he was coming over. of course jungkook welcomed him, he thought tae needed something,

"hey bro." jungkook and tae made a fist bump before going inside. jungkook lived with his parents still, he had just graduated high school last year. he's going ti college soon but for now, he decided to take a rest for a few months after losing his best friend.

"what's up?" jungkook asked, both of them sitting on the couch in the living room.

"nothing.. where's everyone else?" tae asked not seeing his family members in the house.

"oh my mom went grocery shopping with my dad and my brothers upstairs sleeping."

tae nodded and sighed. "what is it tae?" jungkook asked.

"does taeyeon often come here?" tae asked. jungkook was taken aback at the question. of course taeyeon would always come over whenever she wanted. it was only a few times that she told taehyung about it, other times, she'd secretly come over.

"uh, yeah. why?" jungkook asked.

"oh nothing. just wondering."

"about what?"

"did she ever tell you anything about her problems in school? maybe her insecurities or her being bullied or something?" tae asked.

"well, not all of it since she told me she wasn't ready to say it yet, probably knowing i'd tell you about it if it were any serious. but she did tell me about things like her best friend betraying her, her friend liking me and all that-"

"her friend liking you?" tae asked.

jungkook nodded. "her friend, she didn't mention her name though. but taeyeon told me her friend from church liked me too and was jealous of her."

"liked you too? what do you mean- wait, taeyeon likes you?" taehyung asked, eyes widened. he didn't know this and was definitely not expecting it.

jungkook rubbed the back of his neck. "yeah well, it was mutual." this time tae's eyes widened much more as if it was any possible. "what? how come i didn't know?" tae whined.

he honestly didn't care if taeyeon liked his friend, as long as the person she liked had mutual feelings and is taehyung's trusted friend. he'd be totally okay with it.

"sorry for not telling you earlier, taeyeon didn't want to. she said you'd not like it or whatever but i mean like, i know you though. you'd support me or us, right?"

"of course." tae smiled, but it soon faded when he realized her sister isn't here anymore. tae sighed. "it must be hard for you too isn't it? that's why you said you'd rest for a few months? to move on?" tae asked.

"ah well, kinda. i just couldn't focus on what i wanted anymore when the one who helped me most isn't here anymore. but i giess, i can't always depend on her. so i'm just gonna rest for a few months and i'll continue again. that's what she wanted." jungkook smiled.

tae nodded. "it is." he sighed. "oh right, you said her friend liked you?"

"oh yeah. she didn't tell me her name. she said it was her friend from church, and i didn't know her." jungkook said.

"natasha?" tae asked, more to himself. "i guess? is that her only friend from church?" jungkook asked.

tae nodded. "well she was the closest with us." tae explained.

"ahh, i guess it is her. now that makes sense." jungkook spoke to himself. "what does? what is? what?" tae attacked him with questions.

"relax. it's the letters. i got letters from fangirls sometimes, and i don't even know who they are. but they kmow where i live, creepy." jungkook shivered.

"where do you get the letters?" tae asked.

jungkook pointed outside his house. "the mailbox. oh and taeyeon knew about this. she'd always get mad but honestly she was just jealous." jungkook chuckled.

"mailbox..." tae muttered to himself. his eyes widened the second he figured it out.

"the clue." tae said to himself. "i'm gonna go outside and check your mailbox alright?" tae said to jungkook who was confused but nodded anyways.

tae ran outside and opened the mailbox.

empty.

"is there anything you're looking for?" jungkook asked. "yes. a clue." tae answered checking the mailbox.

"it must be here somewhere.." tae whispered to himself, his hand roaming around in and out of the mailbox, searching for anything at all.

his hand felt something and it stopped when his hand was under the mailbox. tae bent down and saw a folded piece of paper being taped under the mailbox. he smiled and took it. "a genius, yeonnie." he grinned.

"woah, where the hell..?" jungkook was confused, he didn't even know that thing was there the whole time.

"thanks for being honest with me kook. i appreciate it. i'll explain everything later. but now i gotta hurry. thank you and bye!" tae tushed to his car and drove away in less than a minute.

leaving jungkook very confused.

he parked his car outside the house knowing that maybe if it was another clue to lead him somewhere he can go after this, he'd drive straight to the place.

"let's see." he unfolded the paper and read the message.

3.  my friends were jealous of me. they disliked me. they were fake. >> aloj, zersze

taehyung frowned. if this was true, he wondered why on earth would anyone disliked his lovely sister? he didn't get it.

"dorm, church," he read. it was used eith the same code earlier. "two places." he said, figuring out the answer.

"if i go to the dorm now, i don't think they'd let me. it's almost dark now." tae thought. suddenly drops of rain landed on his car's windows.

he sighed, knowing he should just rest for the day and continue the search tomorrow.

"i can't believe i already have a lot of clues now. yeonnie, you're a genius. but not too smart," tae pouted. "you didn't tell me anything about this. you should've trusted me." he sighed, almost at the verge of crying again. but he didn't.

"let's just get some sleep." he sighed and left his car heading to his house.

he turned on the lights and looked around the empty house. "it feels so empty now, truly empty." he smiled bitterly.

he sighed for the nth time before sitting on the couch in the living room and turning on the tv. "i really need a dog. i think i should adopt one, maybe that'll help me maintain my happiness." he smiled by himself.

"and maybe i'll name it after yeonnie." he whispered to himself. in just a few minutes, he was dead asleep on the couch.
