Aadhya's POV

He didn't changed at all.

He was same as he was before. I thought maybe he was guilty for what he did that day with me but no, he can never be guilty.

Today I was sitting in the living room, reading one of my fav book, when the front door opened with a bang.

I lifted my head to see the person, but how can I forget, it's his house, he can come whenever he wanted.

I roll my eyes at him. But maybe I shouldn't had done that. Becoz I regretted doing that, when he held my jaw tightly in his firm grip.

"What you think of yourself? Why the hell you are behaving in a weird way? And why didn't you picked up my fucking calls?" He shouted attacking me with his questions.

Then it strike me, oh god, I have left my phone in my bedroom, and I hadn't even went there to take it.

"I....Phone...not with...me..." I said but those came out as pieces, I couldn't form any sentence.

He must be thinking why am I behaving in this way, because that day, something clicked in my head.

It was her words, Myra's.

"Never afraid, when you are not wrong. Because once you did, the other person always see you in that way. He or she will dominate you. Never afraid of being right." Her words rang in my head, when I wanted to end this life, I was thinking about everyone, but her words clicked in my mind and I had decided I will not be afraid of this monster.

"Are you there?" His words took me off from my thoughts.

"I didn't have my phone with me." I replied this time confidently.

"Next time, don't ignore my calls or else, you know the consequences." He threatened again, I'm kind of fed up from his fake consequences.

I just nodded, when he left my jaw.

"And yes. Myra called me, because you weren't receiving her calls." He said, and I noticed when he said 'Myra' his voice soften.

I felt a pang in my chest. He said her name so softly and when it comes to me, he shouted my name like an idiot.

It's because your husband love your best friend, who is already married. My subconscious reminded me.

I'm sure, if she wasn't married, he would have married her, and then I won't be here with him.

"So that's why you came here to check up on me?" These words came out, and I regretted because I know he is faking it, I don't want his fake concern and how can I even think he will be concerned about me?

I know he came because Myra would have told him to.

"I didn't came here to check up on you. Its...just...I have completed my work early." He replied stuttering, like seriously Mr.Daniel Walker stuttered?

"You don't have to explain." Saying this I went towards my room, I can see his face, confused, maybe more on himself than me.

I called Myra and we talked for one hour.

"Aadhya I just want to ask you something. Plz...don't mind it..." She said becoming serious.

"Yes..." I said, I nodded my head I know she can't see me, but I do that when someone ask me something.
