"Okay were done here" Chloe announced as she went to the counter to pay the clothes that we picked earlier.

The cashier immediately punch the prize tag of the clothes.

"Php15,109.00 ma'am" the cashier told Chloe with a wide smile.

"Here" she told the saleslady while giving her her credit card.

"Oh no" I stopped Chloe.

"What?" she asked confused.

"Let me pay the bills" I spoke and handed the saleslady my credit card.

Actually our family is one of the riches family all around the world.
And that's also the reason why I took the Business and management course because one of these days I will be the one who will continue to manage our company.

"Okay, So shall I be the one whose going to pay for lunch?" Chloe asked.

"If you insist to, I won't complain" I told her.

"Whatever" is her only reply while getting the paper bag of clothes that we've bought.

"Girls whose in for lunch?" Kuya Clark suddenly asked while stepping outside his office.

"We're in" Chloe told Kuya Clark.

"Is that all ma'am and sir?" the waiter asked when we finished dictating him our orders.

"Yes that would be all" Kuya Clark told the waiter.

We're at a Spanish restaurant right now to have our lunch. Which Kuya Clark is the one oblige to pay the bills.

"Guys if you'll excuse me I'm going too go to the restroom" Chloe excused herself and went to the restroom.

"So how are you these past few days?" Kuya Clark suddenly asked.

"Better than ever" I told him with a smile.

"I see" he spoke again which I didn't bother to reply.

"You really moved on huh?" He asked me again.

"It's not that hard besides I have a friend who always stayed by my side" I told him.

"Amber are you really happy or you're just trying to be happy?" He suddenly asked which shocked me.

"Why wouldn't I be happy?" I asked him confuse about his question.

"Because you know?about the breakup thing" he stated.

"Kuya, it's been three  years and I've already forgot about what happened" I told him.

"Did it ever cross your mind that his hurting too?" he asked which shocked me again.

"Hurting? Why would he? If he's hurting then he shouldn't have broke up with me" I told him.

"But what if he has his own valid reason" he stated again.

"Is breaking with your girlfriend through email has a valid reason?" I asked him.

"Amber you don't know what his been through" he told me.

"I don't care and there's no way in hell I would be caring for him again" I told him.

"But what if he comes back?" he asked me.

"Then let him come back. It's not like I care" I told him.

"Will you be able to forgive him?" he asked me again.

"Look kuya Clark, just because he's your former best friend doesn't mean you need to  defend him. Look let's just leave the past and focus on our future. And by the way don't ever forget that he also leaved you after all that you've done for him and after all that you've both been through." I told him.

"That's what you think" he stated.

I was about to ask him what he mean but I was interrupted buy Chloe who came back from the restroom.

"Hey did I miss something?" she asked while sitting back to her chair.

"No" I answered her question. Finally the waiter arrived with our orders.

after we ate we headed straight to our homes.
