y/n: Okay so late me see I wake up in a cave even tho I swear I was in my mothers arms watching my dad run off being chased... ohh a later how convenient

y/n opens the letter and reads it out loud, not knowing an old short man watching from outside listening in

y/n: Hello my son it is me mother I am sure you are wondering why you are in a cave and not with me and your father, well when the magic council got word of your father's location they sent a big portion of their army to go arrest him, he told me the only way to make sure you are safe is to send you through the eclipse gate I didn't want to let you go rest a sure that my son but we want you safe. We both love you very much y/n that is why it is so hard to let you go and write this, please stay safe my child. y/n looks at his letter and sees that his mother wanted him to go there

Time skip to guild hall

Makarov: Okay boy this is fairy tail... wait how rude of me what's your name young man

Makarov: That is the guild stamp it shows you are apart of fairy tail and would you look at that it seems your mother put a spell on it so when you reach here it appears and the spell is broken... well come to the guild, we should let you meet the other members

y/n: Umm as far as I am concerned they are alive because the letter they left me told me we would meet again so I guess they are alive they had to leave me because my dad was being hunted by the council and they wanted to insure my safety
