Unpredicted friendship

Before I knew it I was settled in and I felt at home, the twins both asked if I needed anything and I said no. I was just happy to be here.

Grayson knocked on my door and I jumped up from my bean bag chair (yes I had a bean bag chair) to open the door for him.

"Hey, you settling in okay?" he asked as he leaned against the doorframe.

"Are you kidding I love it here, but I'm just really happy I have such good..." I paused, "I wanna say best friends?" I asked hopefully.

He nodded, "Yea, best friends." Ethan walked into the room and asked if I had said yes.

"Yes to what?" I asked. "Well we told our followers on twitter we had a new friend from england staying with us for a while before she goes to college. That's you-" he added at the end in case i didn't realise, "- and we also asked them to provide some questions and some dares that we might use in a video with you, and they went crazy with the questions.
We're gonna have to select only the best ones to put in. I sent Gray in here to ask if you wanted to do it." Ethan finished off with a smile.

"Sure, that would be fun." I said back.

A few minutes and an argument about Ethan wanting to do it in the Tesla later they both finished setting up and were ready for me to be in the video. It felt insane.

We all sat down and the twins introduced me as "their friend", that was nice, I'm friends with the dolan twins. Before anything else they told the camera how we met.

"This is Carmen, we met her a few days ago." Grayson explained first whilst putting his arm around me.

"I would never have predicted the way we met, we made a great friend that day... Well yesterday." Ethan added.

"Okay let's just cut to the point, a guy was gonna harass me and Gray and E were luckily there to help, and thank god, I couldn't bare being harassed after eating such good pizza." As I said it I tried to make a joke out of it to hide my pain.

"Car, he was going to do more than that and you know it." Ethan snapped,he sounded so angry and protective over me. "I'm just happy that we were there to save you." He added, calming his voice whilst his face was going pink.

"Anyway..." Gray slid in before E could embarrass himself more.

"Let's start this video". Ethan demanded.

"Let's fucking go!" As Grayson said that we had a massive laughing fit.

"So to explain, I will ask Car a question and if she answers I get a point. If Carson doesn't answer the question then we get to dare her. Then ethans does the same, and the person with the most points at the end wins"  Grayson explained.

"So my first question is why did you come to America for college?" Ethan asked, I guessed he wanted to start off casual.

"To start off with I just wanted a fresh start. I remember coming to America as a child and I absolutely loved it. Plus, I needed to escape my toxic life at home, I wasn't happy there and no one should be unhappy at home." I answered whilst looking directly at the camera. I didn't want to go into too much detail.

Grayson looked sad but Ethan looked like he was about to cry then punch a wall. Classic Ethan...  He's gonna end up breaking his hand for a second time.

The next question was very difficult for me to answer. Grayson asked it, "How did your last relationship turn out?"

I froze, thinking. Should I answer, should I not? I started panicking, the room went silent. Wow, that was a nightmare.

Finally I built up the courage to say "well I guess I'm just gonna have to have a dare." I nervously giggled out. Grayson's face lit up.

"I dare you, to kiss Ethan." he said smugly, winking at E. Ugh, why would he do this to me? I guess It's not his fault because he doesn't know I'm gay but still.

"It's just a kiss, it's just a kiss", I kept repeating in my head as we both leaned forward.

He held my face and placed his lips lightly onto mine. It was nice I guess, considering the fact that I don't like guys.

The moments after the kiss were so awkward. Grayson was laughing and Ethan went bright red, I felt so sorry for them. At least I can say I'm a good kisser, or well, the girls I've kissed said that.

Ethan asked the next question "What are your plans for when you move out of our house?"

"Well, I already have an apartment but I need to wait until I start college to move in. I'm also planning on taking my little brother, Casey, in because he's much better with me and away from my parents."

"That's a point to me!!",Ethan said, seeming very happy about it.

"Bro, you kissed her so maybe that's more than one point". As Gray was saying that he winked at me.

I felt so uncomfortable, I wanted to tell them I was a lesbian so bad.

"Okay my question! Which one of us would you rather date?" Grayson questioned.

I had to think, how could I lightly tell them I'm interested in girls? "Hmm",I said. "I don't actually really see either of you that way, I'd much rather Cameron." I continued.

"Yea okay, but seriously. If you were staying with us, but you didn't have a room, which room would you stay in?" Grayson asked, trying to hold in a laugh at Ethan's red face.

"Like I said, neither. I'm kind of, well I'm i-into, girls..." I replied, my voice getting quieter and quieter until it trailed off, as I stuttered on a few words due to being nervous.

"Wait, really?" Ethan asked.

"Look, let's turn the camera off, we can figure out an outro later. First, let's focus on the matter at hand, Car", Grayson calming said as he turnt off the camera.

I wanted to cry. I knew they would accept me, they had a past of having gay friends. I was just worried that something else might happen, I don't know. My past has made me believe that it's wrong to like girls, but I know for a fact it's not. It's just hard for me.

"We accept you Car, we always will. We love you for who you are and that's never going to change." Grayson said as him and Ethan pulled me into a warm hug.

"I love you guys too."

"Uh, while we're here can we talk about the question you avoided?" Ethan asked.

"S-sure, could you remind me of the question please?" Scared, I questioned him.

"It was how did your last relationship turn out?", Grayson replied.

"Ah yes, let me explain." I paused, trying to find the right words to explain what happened without it destroying me.
