My name is Derek rose, I go by vicious due to how I grew up, killing without remorse, hating my father and everyone around me, not caring for anyone, but then I met a girl.

Damon's girl, Mia. She was light to my darkness, I thought she was the one, but then the one actually came, Mina.

She was beautiful, smart, funny. But then I had to leave her..because the worst has come, and it's coming after me..

It has been a 3 months since I've left Mia's side, I miss her so much.

I'm in Germany attending college and I'm currently staying with my mom who adopted me..it is also been 7 months since I last saw vicious.

I think about him here and there but I need to focus on my studies.

"Hello there stranger," I look to see my friend josh , we met on the first day of college and have been friends ever since.

"Hello, how was Christmas break?" I ask him, he takes off his scarf as we enter the school.

"Went to the Bahamas, definitely fascinating, and you?" I sigh of disappointment giving I didn't get to visit Mia and Damon, I had to stay and catch up because I missed work due to me being with Mia in longwood when I was supposed to be here .

"I didn't go anywhere, just stayed with my mom and dad. I baked cookies with her and my little sister." in my other family there's my mom and she has a daughter lily, she's 10 years old and I've missed her very much.

"That's not so bad, you turned in your poem yeah? For the contest ?" Ugh great, I was hoping he didn't bring that up.

"No, I'm a quitter." I say as we enter the classroom, we sit at our seats.

"No you can't quit, your poem was amazing it showed passion and heartbreak."  if your all wondering, yes the poem is about vicious, how something so amazing can get ruined and lost in seconds..

"Please reconsider, I want us both to explore California and meet our favorite writers. Don't you?"

I think for a moment, the reason I don't want to hand it in is because if I go..the chances of seeing vicious there could be a little high.

No one knows where he went after he left me..so what if I see him ?

"Good morning class, how's everyone" I snap out of my daydream as the professor walks in .

"I'm assuming everyone has handed in there poems?" I look at josh and he gives me this pleading look , I sigh and take out the poem out of my binder .

"Not quite, I've got mine right here." professor Adams looks at me and smiles .

"Well what are you waiting for? Come on down miss, Sanchez is it now?" I slightly laugh and nod yes, I used to be Mina ceaser .

but now that I found my sister and mother it's Sanchez. I walk down and hand him my poem ,

It's now lunch time, I put my stuff in my locker and head to the lunch room .

"Hi Mina," I look to see Megan my close friend, Hannah is my best friend so I can't call her that .
"Hey Megan how are you ?" I ask her as we walk to lunch together.

"I'm good, I missed you a lot Mina . How was being with your family in longwood?" I smile at her kindness.

"It was fantastic, met a lot of people and lost my accent a little." she laughs and we enter the lunch room, we sit at a table and she smirks at me .
