Don't Mess Up(Chapter 2 rewrite)

You walked into school the next day and almost immediately bombarded by a girl. ''Hey! You're gonna be the new co-manager, right! that's crazy! My name's Suzuna!!! It's so great to meet you!!!'' then she turned around and shouted to some people who were waiting in a mini group. ''Hey guys! Come meet y/n! they're gonna be co-manager!'' One by one the guys walked over. slowly, as if almost scared they introduced themselves. I mean, it makes sense since you literally have a resting bitch face. One that reminded you of a monkey and that you saw that one time when Hiruma dragged you to the clubhouse introduced himself first. ''I-I'm Monta! Nice to meet you!'' He stood back and you could swear he was blushing. The next three (you know who i'm talking about) introduced themselves as Kazuki Jimonji, Koji Kuroki, and Shozo Togano. They seemed like they didn't want to be here but... meh. You turned around suddenly because of a small cough you hear. "Oh, hi Sena." he half looked at you and half looked at the floor (cuz that totally works) and muttered something under his breath, something that you didn't hear. "I'm sorry Sena, I didn't hear you, could you repeat yourself?" He looked into your eyes and you could see that he was blushing. "I-I said w-would you be a-able to meet me at the football field during lunch?" You looked at him and nodded.

As you walked down to the field, you saw Sena with Hiruma. Since you're pretty nosy (IDK) you decided to eavesdrop on them.

''I don't think they're gonna show up. '' said Sena. Hiruma was sporting his normal scowl, but he also kinda looked sympathetic. "Oh well... Here goes nothing."

I walked onto the field in my sweatpants and hoodie that I had saved for track practice. I looked at the two boys and thought to myself... Alright Y/N you can do this. I don't know what Sena wants, but Hiruma is here so that can't be good.

''Hey G-guys'' SHIT Y/N! I yelled at myself. WHY DID I STUTTER!

''Oh H-hey Y/N.'' Sena said. Hiruma looked at Sena and then me, Then he walked away. Talk about moral support. I think Hiruma's just about the worst person to ask when it comes to that.

''So, Sena? What did you want to talk about, or do?''

''I... Let's run.''

THERE YOU ARE!!! DAMN SENA AND DAMN (Y/N)! I THOUGHT YOU WERE SKIPPING OUT ON PRACTICE!!

"Oh hey Hiruma" you stated bluntly as you got back from your run.

"we decided to go for a run and talk about some things" you then thought to yourself... but we didn't talk. It was just us running. So did Sena actually want to tell me something? or did he just want company for a run?

"well you have to be ready for this game against Ojo."

It was finally time for your first game with the devil bats, and coincidentally one of their last.

Deimon had never had such a severe game. After several known plays, and Sena getting his ass handed to him the first 4 times he tried to go down the field, he was successful the 5th, but not before obtaining a "few" more bruises, Hiruma completely gave up on that and just told everyone to go back to the basics. Passing and Throwing.

When you ran the ball, Shin hit you so hard, the top of your eyeshield cracked. They couldn't find another one I their extra uniform bags, so you played with the cracked one. ( foreshadowing warning)

4th down with 86 yards left to go. The score was 65-60. With 10 seconds left, almost everyone had given up hope. Everyone, that is except Kirita, Sena, and the rest of the devil bats.

That's when Hiruma came up with his plan. Both you and Sena were on offence with the normal squad, just Hiruma wasn't on the field. If anything happened, you were to take his spot as quarterback. The play he came up with, was for you to get the ball, hand it off to Monta, then you and Sena would both run by him and he would hand it off to you. Ojo would think we gave the ball to Sena because we would both be running up the field. Sena and I will follow the out of bounds until their defense chooses to go to one or the other. Then the other person will cut to the middle and run free.

"YA-HA" you better not screw this up y/n or else I'm letting Cerberus chase you, and no one's gonna stop him when he catches up to you!! Hiruma said in your ear.

"Yes sir!!" you said, terrified
