Jack P.O.V.

Avery looks at me sitting her hands in her lap. I drove over to the small town.

"I'm sorry for helping you."

"it's fine Avery."

She look out the window. "Why did you pull your hands away from mine? I was just helping you. Sorry if that look like I wanted to have sex with you." she said pissed off.

I park the car looking over at her. "It's not you it was me Avery."

She roll her eyes getting out of the car. I followed her grabbing her hand. She jerks it away walking inside the shop.

"If we are just going to fight the whole time, I'm leaving our trip and good luck getting a ride back home." I said grabbing Avery arm. 

Avery look at me ticked which I've only seen twice. "I'll leave, you plan this trip and I don't want to waste your time Jackass!" she yells as people were looking at us.

"Avery keep your voice down." I ask nicely she didn't do that.

"Now your telling me what to do. Damnit be a jerk! I wanted to have fun with you. I'm sorry I like you and I'm really sorry for being a good friend to you." she yells again walking away from me.

"Avery!" I groan following her around the shop. I try to grab her waist, but she faster then me. "Avery stop!"

She stop as she in a corner. "I'm only stopping because I can't go anywhere else!"

I cover her mouth with my hand, looking at her moving my hand away.

"I'm sorry, I don't know why you are acting like this. Why get all mad for jerking my hand away from yours? You know, I feel bad each time you do something I think it's something couples do. I freak out okay." I said stepping away from her.

"I didn't know you felt bad?" she says looking at me.

"I do Avery. I love having you as friend and I don't want to mess it up by giving you the wrong signals."

"Jack.." she says, walking over, hugging me then letting go. "I'm sorry to."

"Are we go now?"

"We are. We should go I don't think we are allow here anymore." she says as the store own shakes his head, pointing to the door.

We walk out walking around for a while at the different shops.

"Don't pay for anything Jack. I was bitch to you."

"I don't care Avery, you want them I'm getting them." I said paying for the new snow boots.

She smile softly grabbing the bag as we walk out the shop.

"Thank you Jack."

I nod, we walk to the car, I open the door for her she thanked me. I close the door, getting in and drove around seeing where to eat.

"Oh! Jack, there a little café!" Avery says pointing out the front window.

I drove up, parking the car, we walk in sitting at a small table across from each other. The waiter comes over asking us what to drink, I order a soda and Avery orders tea. 15 minutes later, we ordered waiting for the food.

"This is a cute little place." she says looking around.

I smile watching her as I nod. "Yeah, it's cool."

Our food came and Avery grab half of my sandwiches as I did the same.

"I should have order this one." Avery says with her mouth full giggling.

"No way. The one you picked is much better." I switch our plates.

We were done eating, we look at the dessert menu, we both said chocolate cake laughing.

The waiter nods and comes back a minute later.

"We only have one slice left." he said.

Avery and I look at each other.

"We will take it. Two forks please." I said Avery look at me shocked. "It's cake Avery not sex."

She giggle, the slice of cake was placed in the middle of the table. We ate until our fork touch the last bite.

"You take it Jack."

"No, you take it." I said.

"Jack..."

"Avery..."

Avery laugh I look confused. "What?"

"We kinda said your name first and last name." she says covering her face laughing her ass off.

I chuckle, biting my lip, I cut the piece in half taking my slice.

She uncover her face taking her piece. "This was fun."

"It was." I said paying the bill, we walk out, going to the car and I drove us back to the cabin.

"It's sad tomorrow will be our last day here." she says, closing the car door walking to the front door.

"It sucks." I said unlocking the front door, letting Avery go inside then myself, locking the door.

"Maybe we can come back here every year and make it a friend trip."

"I like the sound of that A."

"I'm going to head to bed Jack." she says holding the bags of items.

"Want help?" I said walking over.

"I can do it. I'm a big girl." she says in a baby voice giggling walking upstairs to her room.
